" Dancing With the Stars" pro Anna Trebunskaya blogs on season 17 of the hit ABC show. Trebunskaya, a fan favorite dancer and "DWTS" veteran, is sitting out this season because she is pregnant with her first child. While she can't compete, Trebunskaya will weigh in on the dances, the judges' scores, and who will be eliminated. You can find her on Twitter @atrebunskaya.

So here we go season 17! Starting up with an exciting routine of spinning pros and waving celebrities choreographed by Mandy Moore. Already entertaining!

The Routines

Brant Daugherty: They both are super hot and single - as that flirty video before their first dance pointed out. Their Cha Cha was super sexy and hot too! Definitely room for improvement, but pretty boy can dance! I'm sure Brant got a little excited and that's why he lost a bit of his timing. A very good start to the season - keep up that energy!

Leah Remini: She's a hoot! Leah has a strong personality and it will be interesting to see her go through the process of learning different dances and all of the challenges that come with it. Overall a fun Foxtrot routine and very sassy! Leah, start using your feet more to create a smoother movement, but a great start.

Corbin Bleu: No question that Corbin can dance. Great first dance for him. The contemporary style showcased his athleticism and strength . I thought his tricks very really dynamic. I would love to see how he will do in more formal dances. Keep smiling Corbin, you're a charmer.

Jack Osbourne: What an example to anybody who has been affected by MS. And Jack can dance too! So classy and charming. I have a feeling that I will develop a bit of a crush on Jack. I know he's married, but a girl can dream…now back to dancing. Keep working on technique, Jack, and keep up that positivity. It's infectious.

Amber Riley: "The Tigress of season 17? ! Yes she is. That was an amazing Cha Cha. Really clean and rhythmical. Wonderful routine that is suited to Amber perfectly. Looking forward to seeing all that she will bring to the ballroom.

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren: Great routine for Elizabeth. She was fast, sharp and clean in her contemporary routine. Beautiful pirouettes. She's a very elegant dancer, so I think all the lyrical dances will suit her very well. Elizabeth, keep working on finishing your hands and clean up the footwork. It will help a lot in all the ballroom dances.

Bill Nye: Very entertaining Cha Cha! It definitely got the crowd going. I agree with judges that Bill will need to work a lot on the movement of the body. Keep your chin up- next week there's a new dance and another opportunity to improve your score.

Keyshawn Johnson: Cool tricks! A wonderful play on Keyshawn's strength and very strong content. Keyshawn, you got to get out of your head and let loose! Work a bit on the posture as well and you will do you well in all the ballroom dances to come this season. Oh yeah, and listen to your teacher.

Christina Milian: A very athletic contemporary routine. She had great expression that improved through out the routine. I agree with the judges though: Christina needs to showcase more confidence in her dancing, but she's off to a good start!

Bill Engvall: A really strong Foxtrot routine for Bill. Lots of content and confidence. Must be the fact that he rehearsed in the You Can Dance studio in Hermosa Beach, Calif., (Yes, that's my studio and I'm shameless about plugging it in). Bill, work on your transitions and smoothness, but you're doing fantastic!

Valerie Harper: Wow! That performance brought tears to my eyes. What a role model to anyone! She's a stunning woman and a very elegant dancer. No other words…

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi: Looking hot mama! Really fun Cha Cha "pocket rocket" style (to echo Len's comment). Snooki actually had good Cha Cha technique and good rhythm. Stay focused and keep improving! You're a natural performer.

Anna's Take

Overall, a really good level of dancing from all the competitors. It will be very exciting to see everyone develop and improve. I'm concerned about Bill Nye. He has the lowest score from the judges, but what makes "DWTS" the show it is is the audience voting factor, so you never know! Like I said, exciting!
