Elizabeth Hurley and her fiancé Shane Warne are going through a rocky time in their relationship, according to tweets from the couple.

"Apologies to loyal followers for Twitter silence on recent events," the actress, 48, wrote on Wednesday, one day after stepping out without her engagement ring. "Too raw & personal to share right now."

According to British tabloid reports, Hurley has been angry about the amount of time her cricket player beau, 44, had been spending with his ex-wife. (Hurley's rep could not be reached for comment.)

However, Warne clarified via his own Twitter account that the two had not officially broken up.

"Some of the reports re EH & me r absolute rubbish," he wrote Wednesday. "Yes we're sorting through some (private) issues. But we're not throwing the towel in yet."

Hurley and Warne were first reported to be a couple in 2010. They were engaged in the fall of 2011.
