Some wear their hearts on their sleeves. Sinead O'Connor seems to be wearing hers on her face.

The Irish singer, 46, recently debuted two tattoos on her face: the letter B and the letter Q on her cheeks.

In a blog post on her website, O'Connor gave an explanation for the new ink.

"Brendan Quinlan.. 'It's what it is' … Un ange passe ;)," she wrote. ("Un ange passe," is roughly translated to, "an awkward silence.") "There's a bottle of Agent Provocateur in someone's room that belongs to me."

There's no word yet as to who Quinlan is, though British tabloids have reported that he's an ex.

In 2011, O'Connor wrote a blog post looking for love.

"I am in the peak of my sexual prime and way too lovely to be living like a nun," she wrote. "It's VERY depressing."
