“Glee” is finally ready to say goodbye to star Cory Monteith.
Yesterday, Fox uploaded a 30-second promo of the farewell episode for his character Finn Hudson, set for Oct. 10.
The video starts with his classmates carrying red drumsticks with a black ribbon tied around them, his football helmet and gear being boxed up and a caption, “The hardest word to say,” alluding to goodbye.
It continues with a football being placed by his locker, which has been transformed into a memorial for the fallen Gleek. Lea Michele, Monteith’s girlfriend on and off screen is being consoled by Matthew Morrison in the clip.
Monteith, 31, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13. The cause was a mixture of alcohol and heroin.
The British Columbia Coroners Service released its final report on Wednesday, stating a “spoon with drug residue and a hypodermic needle, along with two empty champagne bottles” were found in the hotel room where the actor died.
