It's going to be a baby boy for Simon Cowell!

The "X Factor" judge told " Access Hollywood" that he and girlfriend Lauren Silverman are expecting a son.

"He's got to learn how to drive very quickly," Cowell slipped when talking about his beloved Bugatti. "I think I just gave it away … everybody knows anyway, it's a boy."

Cowell, 54, said during the interview that aired on Sunday that he might have the perfect name picked out for his boy and that there's meaning behind it.

"The first time I saw it, it was that big," he said, pinching his fingers the size of a penny. "I called him Tad, because he looked like a Tadpole, I still want to call him Tad."

The music mogul, who used to say he didn't want kids, now says: "Then you see the thing grow and you become so attached to it," he added. "I never thought I would be that way, you know I never wanted kids before."

At the end of July, reports surfaced about Cowell and Silverman, who at the time was the estranged wife of one of Cowell's associates - real estate developer Andrew Silverman.

Cowell finally spoke out in August and told the BBC that he was proud of becoming a father and acknowledged the relationship with Silverman.
