One month after confirming her engagement to heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitshko, Hayden Panettiere is looking forward to starting a family, the star of ABC's "Nashville" said when she stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday (Nov 27), where she dished on her new fiancé.

"I've known him since I was 19, so five years," Panettiere told DeGeneres. "It's been a while now. He's a good dude, and he's huge."

"I know that I'm small, but he's large," the 5 feet, 2 inch actress said about her 6 foot, 6 inch beau. "That's how we met. I said, 'You're huge.' He said, 'You're tiny.'"

Despite the couple's mismatched height, Panettiere expressed hopes that their union would produce "normal" size children.

"God's telling us we're too far on either end of the spectrum," she quipped. "He needs to make normal people."

"He's got bowlegs. I've got knock knees," she said. "They're gonna have straight legs and be normal height."

When asked about the couple's wedding plans, Panettiere shared that Klitshko, a Ukraine native, is unfamiliar with American wedding traditions.

"He's very confused about our traditions," she explained before recounting an exchange between the two. "'What is this honeymoon?'" he asked. "I said, 'It's when you go on a vacation afterwards. Or you can't see the bride in her dress before.'" He asked, "'Why? Why not, it's a dress.'"

Still, there is one tradition Panettiere is happy her fiancé doesn't know.

"He doesn't know the woman's side of the family is supposed to pay for the wedding," she confessed. "Shh … We don't need him to know that!"

Panettiere also revealed she'd sat down for a bikini wax while speaking on the phone with DeGeneres' show producers for her pre-interview screening. Her multi-tasking efforts ultimately failed.

"I said, finally, 'I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I have to be honest with you, I'm getting a bikini wax right now, and I thought I can do this, but I can't. Can you call me back in 10 minutes.'" she said. "He's like, 'I've heard a lot of things before, but that's a first.'"
