In one of his final starring performances, Paul Walker, 40, will appear in "Hours," set to be released Dec. 13 in select cities.
The "Fast & Furious" star, who died Saturday in a car crash in Los Angeles, plays a husband who loses his wife during child birth after she goes into labor five weeks early.
The drama is set around the time of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and when the hurricane hits, Walker is left fighting to keep his premature baby alive, even after the hospital loses power.
"I don't get it, this wasn't supposed to happen," Walker's character says in the trailer.
In addition to "Hours," Walker was filming "Fast & Furious 7? at the time of his death, but his status in that film is unclear at this time. "Hours" is not his last film, but would be one of the last he filmed from start to finish and starred in as the main character.
