Zac Efron may have broken his jaw, but his humor is still intact.
With a bandage along his left jawline, the 25-year-old actor allowed his "That Awkward Moment" co-stars to poke fun at the accident last month that resulted in a broken jaw.
E! was the first to report that the "High School Musical" star had to have his mouth wired shut after he slipped in a puddle outside his Los Angeles home.
Monday, the website posted a video with Efron and his "Awkward" co-stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan jokingly explaining the real reason behind the injury.
Teller and Jordan claimed that Efron was at home with a girl, "giving her the worst sexual experience of her life."
"The absolute worst, but she was getting into it," Jordan joked.
When the girl realized that Efron was "finished," she was "so angry" that she grabbed a "heavy book" and "slammed it right into your beautiful face," Jordan said.
"That's how it happened," he added.
"Case closed," Teller said, giving Jordan a high-five.
"He is still really good looking," Teller added.
All kidding aside, Efron's megawatt smile was back on display at last Friday's Los Angeles Lakers game.
"That Awkward Moment," about three young men who vow to stay single in New York City, hits theaters Jan. 31.
