'Veronica Mars' Trailer Released: The Gang's Back in Action

With just over two months until the release of the highly anticipated "Veronica Mars" movie, fans got their first taste of the action when the official trailer was released Thursday.

The two-minute clip of the project, which raised more than $5.7 million from a Kickstarter campaign, opens with Mars, played by Kristen Bell, telling Jamie Lee Curtis that she's changed and is not compulsive nor an addict anymore.

Mars is now a big-time New York lawyer, with a boyfriend and a normal life, until she gets a call from her ex, Logan Echolls, who needs her help. He is suspected of killing his girlfriend.

"I don't really do that anymore," she tells Echolls, before showing up at his door step a few seconds later. She's back!

Tina Majorino, Krysten Ritter, Percy Daggs and even Max Greenfield all appear in the clip that is sure to drum up some buzz for the film.

"Veronica Mars" hits theaters March 14.
