"30 Rock" actress Katrina Bowden and musician Ben Jorgensen got married last May, so today will mark their first Super Bowl Sunday together as husband and wife.

To celebrate the occasion, Bowden said she is hosting a low-key party at their New York home and she is doing something she has never tried before.

"On the way over here, my husband sent me a bunch of recipes for chicken wings he wants me to make," she told ABC News at the Shape Magazine/Men's Fitness party sponsored by Tabasco on Friday Night in New York City. "So, I guess we'll be doing that."

The "Scary Movie 5? star, 25, added, "I've never made chicken wings! I'm a very good cook, but I've never made a chicken wing. That should be interesting."

Bowden added that her husband, 30, is excited for today's game because the teams "are evenly matched."

As for matches, she and her husband are a perfect one, she said.

"It's great," she said of married life. "It's pretty much the same as not married life, but it's amazing. It's lovely."

The beauty admitted that if not for her husband, she might not be paying attention to the game at all.

"Probably not," she said laughing. "I watch it for the commercials and performances every year. But it's a fun event to watch for sure. I'm more of a basketball girl."
