Emmy Rossum Thanks Pilot for Calming Her Nerves Amid Missing Malaysian Jet

Actress Emmy Rossum had a big smile on her face after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, and the "Shameless" star let her flight crew know that she was grateful they got her home safely and comfortably.

"Shout out to our lovely #AmericanAirlines captain who made a point of coming into the cabin to introduce himself and assure us a safe flight," the 27-year-old actress tweeted after her flight.

"Thank you to the kind flight staff who understand that tensions are running higher than usual when it comes to air travel. Pray for #MH370," she added.

Rossum is referring to missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared more than a week ago with 239 people aboard while traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The hunt for the plane continues with new scrutiny on the plane's pilots.
