Mary-Kate Olsen, 27, may be best known for sharing the star role of Michelle Tanner on "Full House" with her sister Ashley Olsen, but now she is a star in the fashion and beauty world.

She has three clothing lines with her twin sister and now they are releasing two fragrances, but, still, Mary-Kate says that she is still learning the most basic beauty practices.

"You know, the truth is I feel like I just learned how to brush my hair like last week," Mary-Kate told Marie Claire in a new interview.

In the same chat, however, Ashley said that she's a bit more experienced in the beauty department.

"I think I'm pretty good at doing other people's makeup. I think after getting my makeup done for so many years I'm pretty good at that," she admitted. "My friend actually also made me cut her hair the other day and that didn't look too bad either. She had long hair, too!"

In addition to creating new fragrance lines with her sister, Mary-Kate has had an exciting 2013. The former child star, 27, has been dating Olivier Sarkozy, the 44-year-old brother of former French president, since 2012. Lately, Olsen has been seen wearing a ring on her ring finger, leading to speculation that the two are engaged .
