Up to now, Dylan Penn has avoided joining the family business.

The daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright, the model said she previously had no interest in acting.

"I've rejected it my whole life until now. I literally can't say it without laughing," she told the latest issue of Treats magazine, which she covers nude except for a Fendi handbag.

"My truest passion is writing so I continue to do that on my own while seeing what all the buzz is about being in front of the camera," Penn, 22, told the magazine.

She's shooting her first film, the indie horror flick "The Condemned," which is due out next year.

"I swore I would never do a horror film but when I read the script and met him I couldn't resist; it just seemed like it would be so much fun to make and I really wanted my first experience to be just that," Penn said in the interview of writer-director Eli Morgan Gesner.

Penn grew up with her parents and brother Hopper outside San Francisco, in Marin County, in a small town that she said "maintained a sense of normalcy."

Now, she's all grown up and taking Hollywood by storm.

Despite reportedly turning down a $150,000 offer to pose for "Playboy" in March, the model-turned actress posed for Treats in a series of provocative shots by photographer Tony Duran.

She said Duran's work inspired her to bare all.

"I knew his photography from before and really admire him as an artist. I have always loved his black-and-white nudes," she told the magazine. "They were always so tastefully done and, more specifically, showed that certain elegant yet strong beauty that I think all women embody."
