Haylie Duff Engaged to Boyfriend Matt Rosenberg

The 'Napoleon Dynamite' star celebrated April Fools' Day with a surprise proposal.

"Matt just took me by total surprise and proposed … on April Fool's Day of all days!" Haylie Duff, 29, wrote on her website on April 3 to announce her engagement to boyfriend Matt Rosenberg. "The moment was genuine and sweet (like him!) and I couldn't wait to say yes!"

The "7th Heaven" actress followed her engagement announcement with an Instagram photo of the two of them smiling. Duff's sparkling engagement ring is on full-view in the photo as she holds on tight to her new fiancé.

She captioned the photo: "The future Mrs.Rosenberg #Love @mr_sts"

Rosenberg was quick to follow suit and posted his own engagement photo to his Instagram account to let the world know that "She said yes!"

Hilary Duff, the bride-to-be's little sister, took to Twitter shortly after the announcement to share her happiness about the engagement.
