Miranda Kerr 'Was Fine' With Possibly Never Getting Back to Pre-Baby Body

Australian native Miranda Kerr is fast becoming one of the most recognizable faces in the U.S.

Kerr's work with Reebok, Calvin Klein, Wonderbra and H&M, has made her the second-highest paid model of 2013, according to Forbes magazine, which says she earned $7.2 million for that year.

Kerr, a former model for Victoria's Secret, says her empire is built on a solid spiritual foundation and beauty philosophy.

"It starts inside really so when you feel good about within yourself then you will be kind to yourself and want to eat healthfully. And when you're eating healthfully, you are getting more energized," she said in an interview with "Good Morning America."

The 30-year-old has a 3-year-old son, Flynn, with actor Orlando Bloom.

Asked whether she felt any pressure to return to model form quickly after giving birth to her son, Kerr said: "I had to surrender completely to the fact that maybe, you know, maybe my body would never get back to shape, and I was fine with that."

Last year, Kerr and Bloom announced they were separating after three years of marriage. Despite the state of their marriage, they have remained friends. They ran into each other on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party in March and had a friendly exchange. Bloom told her she looked "amazing" and asked if she was well. She thanked him and replied that she was well.

"I think it's really important to have two happy parents and he is really happy and I am happy. He is a great dad and I feel really lucky to have him in my life," she said.

Kerr recently launched KORA, a line of organic skin care products that contain one of her best-kept beauty secrets.

"One of my secrets is Noni … It's a superfood that I drink but also use to apply topically onto my face which right now I have as a key ingredient in my products," she said. "It has over a 170 vitamins and minerals. I notice the benefits first hand, I've been drinking it since I was 12."

Kerr is also a social media star. As of Sunday, she had more than 3.6 million followers on Instagram and 2.7 million on Twitter.

Of course, being a social star requires mastering the art of the selfie.
