Days after it was announced that Paul Walker's brothers will fill help finish "Fast & Furious 7," star Vin Diesel posted a photo of him with the late actor's two brothers.

"After spending time with his biological brothers, I must say to the parents, you raised some great kids," Diesel wrote in a Facebook post accompanying the photo, believed to have been taken on the set.

The star also opened up about his reaction to Walker's death.

"When I heard the news, I left the production, grabbed a plane and took my family and Michelle [Rodriguez] back to L.A. … drove directly to his parent's house," Diesel wrote on Facebook. "His Father said, Paul loved you Vin… I awkwardly and nervously said, aw come on… then he said… you don't have to get along every second to love each other… so true."

Walker, 40, was in the midst of shooting scenes for the upcoming film when he died Nov. 30, after the car he was riding in crashed near a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.

Production was immediately halted.

Last week, producers announced that Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, would fill in for the late actor.

"Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for FAST & FURIOUS 7, and it's among the strongest work of his career," the filmmakers said in a Facebook post. "We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our FAST family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."
