Fireworks, parades and patriotism are in full effect today, but not for the Fourth of July.

It’s Canada Day!

Canada Day is celebrated every July 1st, and there’s plenty of famous faces right here in the United States who you probably didn’t even realize are actually from the Great White North.

Drake, Ellen Page, Rachel McAdams and her hunky ‘Notebook’ co-star Ryan Gosling are all Canadians, not to mention Seth Rogen, Pam Anderson, Neve Campbell, Nia Vardalos and Martin Short.

“Happy Canada Day!!!! Sad I’m missing the grease pole in Lockeport… Have fun everyone! #dontdrinkanddrive,” Ellen Page tweeted today.

“Happy Canada day!,” Bryan Adams, famous Canadian singer-songwriter also tweeted.

Wonder if they’ll celebrate with shots of maple syrup, eh?
