The "Lord of the Rings" actor and the "Baby" singer reportedly got into a fight in Ibiza, Spain, early Wednesday when both turned up at the same night spot.
Video surfaced of Bloom, 37, taking a swing at Bieber, 20 - then people stepping in to break it up.
Bieber left and, according to eyewitness reports, the crowd applauded.
The restaurant where the video was made, Cipriani, was packed with celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Puff Daddy that night.
And the stars are still applauding.
While Bieber's fans are rallying to his side on social media, where he posted a photo of Bloom, looking emotional, on his Instagram account Wednesday night, Bloom is getting love from his celeb friends.
On Wednesday's episode of "The Colbert Report," Stephen Colbert was asking James Franco about his relationships when the Bieber-Bloom scuffle came up.
"Speaking of relationships where do you come down on this whole Bieber Orlando Bloom situation?" Colbert asked.
"I'm team Bloom, I gotta say," Franco said without hesitating.

Actor Stephen Amell, from the CW series "Arrow," took sides with Bloom over his fellow Canadian.
Orlando Bloom didn't try to punch Bieber. It looks like he tried to flick him in the head. That's way, WAY better.
