Kyra Sedgwick is on the mend after she accidentally sliced off the tip of her finger while chopping greens.

Her husband, Kevin Bacon, 54, posted photos of his wife’s injury, writing, “Kale isn’t always healthy … if you chop the end of your finger off” beneath a picture of the 47-year-old actress looking glum from a hospital bed with her finger wrapped in bloody bandages.

The Footloose actor shared the snaps of Sedgwick on his WhoSay account June 29.

In a second picture of “The Closer” star, she managed to smile, give a thumbs-up and show off the heavily bandaged pointer finger of her left hand.

“My baby is fine. All good,” her husband wrote, adding, “Still can’t find the tip of that finger.”

A pop star and a mother too, Pink offers a glimpse into her family life in her latest music video.

The 33-year-old singer features her 2-year-old toddler, Willow, and her motocross-racer husband, Carey Hart, in the video for her new song, “True Love.”

“Ahhh! I’m SO so excited for everyone to see my new video TRUE LOVE out today on @VEVO check it out!” Pink tweeted today, following the video’s release.

The song, which celebrates Pink’s imperfect relationship with Hart, includes a few tongue-in-cheek lines about love and marriage like: “At the same time, I wanna hug you, I wanna wrap my hands around your neck.”

While a pig-tailed Willow can be seen playing with stuffed animals and riding bikes with her parents, Pink and Hart duke it out with rose petals.

The video also stars Pink’s friend and fellow mom Lily Allen, in a special cameo at the end.

Prince Harry‘s girlfriend Cressida Bonas seems to be keeping pace with the “party boy” prince.

The pair were seen Saturday at Britain’s Glastonbury rock festival, where they took in the Rolling Stones show together.

Though Harry, 28, managed to duck photographers, Bonas, 24, was spotted in distressed denim overalls, white Nikes and neon green sunglasses — at one point with a drink in her hand and, later, a plate of fries.

The festival’s organizer, Michael Eavis, told The Telegraph that after the Stones concert ended at midnight, he recommended that the couple come back later to take in some of the local nightlife.

“I told him to get his taxi driver to come back at five o’clock in the morning, and do you know what? He lasted until four in the morning.”

“His friends were all having a great time. He didn’t want to make a formal thing of being here,” Eavis added.

According to People, Bonas and Harry have been dating for about a year but their romance heated up earlier this year. In recent months, the pair have been seen skiing the Alps, partying in London and attending the June 22 wedding of friends Tom van Straubenzee and Melissa Percy, where Harry’s ex, Chelsy Davy, was a bridesmaid.

Demi Lovato has been outspoken about her struggles with depression, bipolar disorder and an eating disorder, and in a new interview, she revealed that she was troubled at a very young age.

As a child actress on the popular children’s show, “Barney & Friends,” Lovato, now 20, said she was “so grateful to be on TV, but I was also really struggling.”

“Looking back, there was a connection, probably between any kid who’s ever sang that song to Barney, a little place in a child’s heart, a void, that could be filled. And maybe Barney fills it,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine in its August issue, on stands July 9. “Even before Barney, I was suicidal. I was 7. With Barney, I guess subliminally, I did have a relationship with this figure that was saving my life in a way.”

Ultimately, the “X-Factor” host began cutting herself at age 11 as a coping mechanism.

“I’ve talked about being bullied and the years of being a teenager, but I went through things when I was younger that I’ve never talked about that probably caused me to turn out the way I ended up turning out,” she added, though she did not elaborate on what those things were.

However, she said that she’s letting her song lyrics speak for her. In “Warrior,” she sings, “There’s a part of me I can’t get back/ A little girl grew up too fast/ All it took was once, I’ll never be the same/ Now I’m taking back my life today.”

“My family knows what it’s about,” she said. “When I’m ready to open up that subject with the outside world, then I’ll be free to talk about it. But right now, it’s kind of one of those things where the lyrics speak for me. It’s all in the song.”

Now, she’s focused on being a role model for others who are learning to cope with their emotions.

“I’m not super religious, but I grew up Christian and I believe in God. When I’m in L.A., I don’t talk about it that much because people are very judgmental, but I just feel like God gave me a voice, not just to sing with,” she said. “He put me through those things, which seemed horrible at the time, but they were so worth it. With the obstacles I’ve overcome, I can help people.”

Royal watchers are so eagerly anticipating the mid-July due date of Kate, 31, that they have started generating images of the future monarch.  The results of mashing Kate and William’s features together range from the adorable to the awkward.

Royal watchers say the baby is unlikely to have the blonde hair of its paternal grandmother, the late Princess Diana, because light hair is a recessive, not a dominant trait.  The baby could still inherit some of his or her grandmother’s world-renowned looks, however.

“Obviously Princess Diana was very slender and they’re also qualities that Kate and William have as well,” said Victoria Murphy, consultant for ABC News and royal reporter for the U.K.’s Daily Mirror.

Pittsburgh-based artist and researcher Nickolay Lamm took the guessing game of Kate and William’s offspring one step further by enlisting the aid of a geneticist to help him render what a male and female heir might look like.

Using Will and Kate’s dominant traits as a guide, Lamm says the child is likely to have Kate’s almond-shaped eyes, dark hair and dark skin. From Prince William the young heir will inherit his lips and nose, according to Lamm, the same nose genetically carried through the line of the baby’s male relatives, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Prince Harry, the baby’s great-grandfather, grandfather and uncle, respectively.

Another trait the lucky royal heir is predicted to inherit?  Kate’s dimples, experts say, as dimples are also a dominant trait.

Her Instagram handle may be “mizzhogan,” but Brooke Hogan is on her way to being a Mrs., as the reality star got engaged over the weekend to NFL player Phil Costa.

“Happiest moment of my LIFE,” Hogan, 25, wrote on her Instagram page, next to a photo of Costa on one knee during a trip to Las Vegas. “I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn’t choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful.”

Hogan is the daughter of wrestler Hulk Hogan and rose to fame with her family’s reality show, “Hogan Knows Best.” In 2008, Hogan spoke out about her family’s ups and downs, and how she felt about living life in front of the world.

“We definitely are honest with the audience about what’s going on,” she told “Good Morning America.” “It is hard at times but you know, I saw the camera crew and I was like, ‘I have to let you back in. You’re so cute.’”

Things have seemingly become less dramatic with the family, as other photos on Instagram show everyone happily celebrating Hogan’s engagement. But the cameras captured poignant moments too.

In another shot, Costa, who plays center for the Dallas Cowboys, is seen slipping a ring on Hogan’s finger.

“I look scary,” she wrote next to the picture, “but this is the face of total SHOCK.”

And, pure joy too.

Right now, Kim Kardashian is basking in the glow of her newborn daughter North West, but in a few weeks, she will begin the hard work of getting back in shape post-baby.

“She’s in baby heaven. She’s excited to get started, but she’s really calm about it all,” her trainer, Tracy Anderson told Us Weekly.

“It’s a tough time, and a lot of women feel like it’s a huge mountain to climb to get back, but Kim, surprisingly, has had the totally opposite reaction to other moms,” Anderson said. “She’s like, ‘We’re going to be so good. It’s fun, I feel great!’ She just loves the whole process.”

Anderson is already structuring Kardashian’s exercise routine, though the reality star won’t begin working out until five weeks after baby North’s birth.

Kardashian, 32, and the baby’s father, Kanye West, 36, welcomed their first child June 15.

Anderson said she will focus first on Kardashian’s muscular structure.

“In the beginning, it’s key getting the deep abdominal muscles back and making sure that you get the strength back in the right layers,” she explained.

The fitness guru, whose celebrity clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Bethenny Frankel, is tailoring a program specifically for Kardashian.

“She’s not going to be doing any typical crunches or anything like that,” Anderson said, adding that Kardashian will start with four-day-a-week workouts and work her way up to five or six days.

“Kim is super motivated. She’s all in,” Anderson said. “Pregnancy is actually an opportunity for women to look better than ever. And [Kim] will.”

Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997 at the age of 36, has left a legacy for the kind of mother Kate, 31, will be when she gives birth to the couple’s first child this month.

“Diana was a fabulous mother,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, told ABC News.  “She [Kate] will want to bring their child up with some of the values William had.”

Diana, royal experts say, taught Prince William, 31, and his brother, Prince Harry, 28, their values by example through her charity work with landmine victims and people living with AIDS.

“They said, ‘Well, no, royal babies don’t go on these tours,’” Arthur Edwards, royal photographer for The Sun, recalled of the palace’s response.  “She said, ‘William doesn’t go, I don’t go.’”

Likewise, it has been said that Kate and William plan to raise their child without the help of an entourage of nannies and staff, relying instead on the help of Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, and themselves.

“She will be a full-time mum and, I think, at that stage she will do it by herself, really,” ABC News’ royal contributor Victoria Murphy said last month, referring to Kate’s planned maternity leave from royal duties.  “When her timetable starts up again, I think they will, at that stage, look to get some help, absolutely. And it’s an incredibly important job.”

Around the time of his 2011 wedding to Kate, Prince William himself recalled his mother fondly as a hands-on mom and his own disappointment that she never got to meet Kate, whom he met while in college.

“She played a huge part in my life and Harry’s growing up in how we saw and experienced things,” he said of Diana.

“It’s the one time since she’s died I’ve thought to myself how fantastic if she was here,” William said of his wedding day.  “I’m just very sad she’s never going to get a chance to meet Kate.”

In an interview at the same time, Prince Harry agreed with his older brother.

“She would have loved, loved Kate,” he said of their mom.

Lopez,  43, performed in the former Soviet bloc country on Saturday night at an event hosted by the China National Petroleum Corp., her publicist told the Associated Press in a statement Sunday.

In attendance at the event was Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, since 2006 the leader of the country Human Rights Watch describes as “among the most repressive in the world.”

Towards the end of the concert Lopez, “graciously obliged,” according to her reps, a request from the concert’s host to sing “Happy Birthday” to Berdimuhamedow.

Her choice to sing directly to   Berdimuhamedow caused an uproar, with critics questioning why someone ranked No. 12 on Forbes’s 2013 list of the most powerful celebrities who has also worked on human rights issues would agree to the tribute.

“Lopez obviously has the right to earn a living performing for the dictator of her choice and his circle of cronies, but her actions utterly destroy the carefully-crafted message she has cultivated with her prior involvement with Amnesty International’s programs in Mexico aimed at curbing violence against women,” Thor Halvorssen, president of the Human Rights Foundation, wrote in a statement.  “What is the next stop on her tour, Syria? The dictator of Kazakhstan’s birthday is July 6, maybe she will also pay him a visit?”

A spokesperson for Lopez, a mother of two, says the singer was unaware of the dictator’s history.

“Had there been knowledge of human rights issues [of] any kind, Jennifer would not have attended,” the spokesperson told the Associated Press.

Lopez is not the first celebrity to come under fire for performing for a notorious leader.

Her fellow performers in the music world -Beyonce, Usher, and 50 Cent – and Mariah Carey, a singer who followed her as an “American Idol” judge, have all performed at parties linked to Muammar Gadahfi, the former dictator of Libya.  They later donated their fees to charity.

It is not known how much Lopez was paid for her performance in Turkmenistan.

In 2011, Oscar winner Hilary Swank apologized after attending a birthday party for Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov by saying she didn’t have a full understanding of the event.

The former safety for the New Orleans Saints’ earned that status when he blocked a punt by Atlanta Falcons’ Michael Koenen as the teams played in the Superdome in 2006. The team went on to win the game. It was the Saints’ first victory since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina the previous year, and the win raised the spirits of people in the city.

That game – and the symbolic turning point in the city’s spirits – was immortalized with a statue in Gleason’s likeness outside the Superdome. The statue was named “rebirth.”

That symbol of resilience holds special meaning for New Orleans now that he’s battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a severe neurodegenerative disorder also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the disease causes progressive degeneration, killing the nerve cells that control the body’s muscles, including those needed to breathe, eat or perform other functions. Those with Lou Gehrig’s disease experience increased muscle weakness, or paralysis and even death.

Gleason, 36, was diagnosed with ALS in 2011.

In an interview with “Good Morning America” news anchor Josh Elliott, Gleason’s wife, Michel, described the moment they realized something was wrong.

“We were walking across the street. And he tripped and fell, face-planted … you know, his foot dropped,” she said, adding that it was “devastating.”

Scott Fujita, Steve Gleason’s friend and former teammate, described his own reaction when he got the news.

“I remember breaking down on the phone. And my wife came into the other room.  And she felt like a close relative had just passed away.  It was intense,” Fujita said.

When Elliott first met with Gleason earlier this year, he’d lost most of his physical abilities, and was communicating through a computer that he controlled with his eyes.

Back then, Elliott asked him how the diagnosis changed his life.

Gleason said that he had been losing his ability to run in 2011, and said he was “dreading the loss.”

“I wasn’t sure what I would if I could no longer run,” he said.

And when he finally couldn’t run anymore, he said he chose to search for “new avenues of joy.

“It has not been easy … And we’ve had to be very creative,” said Gleason, who uses a wheelchair full-time now. “But with each loss we have worked to find the beautiful replacement.”

One of Gleason’s new avenues of joy is his son, Rivers, who was born soon after his diagnosis.

Gleason has been creating a video journal for Rivers, so that one day, his son can know his father.

At times, creating the journal – and seeing images of his old self – is difficult.

“I have moments where I miss my old self,” he said. “But I think anyone can get caught up in what we used to have. But at the same time, we can choose to focus on the beauty of now.”

Gleason’s wife said she thinks her husband is “cuter than ever.”

“I see someone I’m very proud of and love a lot and get annoyed with a lot, but love a lot more than get annoyed with,” she said, smiling at her husband.

Gleason created Team Gleason, a foundation dedicated to raising awareness and finding a cure for ALS.

Many in the NFL have rallied around him.

When Gleason was diagnosed, he was told he had an incurable terminal illness and should prepare to die, Blair Casey, who manages Gleason’s foundation and helps care for him round-the-clock, said.

“And so when Steve was told that he said, ‘I’m going to prepare to live,’” Casey said.

Gleason has been living up to that pledge.

“I mean, this is a guy who one-year post diagnosis to celebrate he goes and jumps out of an airplane.  I mean, it’s unbelievable,” Fujita said.

Then there was the time Gleason told Fujita he wanted to go to the top of Macchu Picchu, an ancient Inca site located in the mountains of Peru.

“I said, like, ‘That’s 9,000 feet?’  And he says, ‘Yeah.’  And I said, ‘All right.  Don’t know how we’re going to do it.  But it’s booked.  We’re doing it,’” Fujita recalled.

They did do it.

Much of the work of the ascent would rest of Fujita’s shoulders, literally. Even though Gleason had a specially fitted all-terrain wheelchair, Fujita would end up carrying his friend during the journey.

Fujita trained for months for the hike, hiking up dunes with weight packs, trying to prepare himself for the burden.

“It was much more gnarly that we anticipated,” Gleason said, of the grueling 11-hour climb. “I was definitely scared. But I just chose to embrace it because it was happening.”

Gleason said he felt an initial sense of relief that they had made it up safely. And then a sense of accomplishment set in.

Michel Gleason said they will always have another goal to work towards.

Her husband agreed.

“Bottom line, we all face challenges every day. But we make choices to face our challenges or walk away from them, figuratively,” he said.
