VP Turns 70 Vice President Joe Biden turned 70 today and many people suggested funny gifts for him online. The favorite in our newsroom was an Amtrak conductor's hat. Biden often takes the train from Washington D.C. to his home state of Delaware.

65th Wedding Anniversary Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary privately at Buckingham Palace today, the BBC reported. The queen is the first British monarch to reach 65 years of marriage. The couple was married at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947.

Record Height in Record Time When the Sky City skyscraper in Changsha, China, is finished in March, it will rise 2,749 feet and be the tallest building in the world. The building's size is almost as impressive as the speed at which it will be completed. The construction company told Gizmodo that the tower, all 220 floors, will be built in just 90 days. The image below is a rendering of the building compared to the Chicago skyline.
