Daredevil Nik Wallenda was at it again today in his hometown of Sarasota, Fla. The man who conquered Niagara Falls safely traversed a much smaller gap on the high-wire this afternoon — 180 feet in the air without a net or safety rope. Wallenda walked across the 600-foot span in about nine minutes.
Today, the U.S. Postal Service announced that it has selected Johnny Cash as the first artist to grace a new stamp in a series that will honor music legends. Cash was chosen by the postmaster general from 40,000 suggestions. The stamp will be on sale later this year.
