Back to School Watson, the supercomputer that trounced its human challengers on "Jeopardy," is going to college. It was announced today that Watson will enroll at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York where it will learn how to understand images and videos on the Web.

Babs Is Back Barbra Streisand will perform at the Oscars for the first time in 36 years. Streisand won the Academy Award for best actress for 1968's "Funny Girl" and for best original song in 1977. The Oscars are on Feb. 24.

Gomer Pyle Gets Married Jim Nabors, the actor who played Gomer Pyle in "The Andy Griffith Show," revealed today that at the age of 82 he has married his longtime partner, Stan Cadwallader. The two have been together for 38 years and Nabors said he feels blessed and happy to have a love that has lasted so long.
