Bassey's First Academy Awards Dame Shirley Bassey has joined the all-star lineup of this year's Oscar performances, which already includes Barbra Streisand and Adele. Bassey will sing "Goldfinger" as part of a golden anniversary tribute to James Bond. It will be her first appearance at the Oscars.

Blackout Mystery Solved The mystery behind the temporary power outage at the Super Bowl has been solved. Today we learned that the 34-minute blackout was caused by a relay installed to guard against cable failure.
