First-grader Blake Harper is probably the most popular kid in his Bethesda, Md., school right now, thanks to one amazing free-throw. The Friday before the Super Bowl his school held a free-throw contest: if somebody hits a shot, the students win a day off of school. The little boy made the shot of his life and was ambushed by his classmates on the court.

A rare Frank Lloyd Wright "Usonian" home is on sale in Cincinnati, Ohio. The home, built in 1946, features three bedrooms, soaring ceilings and more than 400 inset windows. The piece of architectural history boasts a price tag of nearly $1.8 million, and another $70,000 for the furniture Wright designed just for this house.

Seventh-Grade Girl Sends Hello Kitty to Space for Science Project

Lauren Rojas, 13, sent her Hello Kitty doll to space for a 7 th-grade science project, using a weather balloon outfitted with four Go-Pro cameras and a GPS device. The doll got as high as 18 miles before the balloon burst, and landed 47 miles from the launch site.
