President Obama returned to Ohio after last year’s election to give the commencement speech at Ohio State University. In his address to the graduating class of 2013, he encouraged the students to “be active citizens, participate, persevere, to never be afraid of failure.” The president ended his speech with a dare, saying: “I dare you to do better. I dare you to do better.”

Basketball star Kobe Bryant is suing his mother, Pamela Bryant, for trying to cash in on his memorabilia. Pamela wants to auction off her son’s items from his early years as a high school player in Philadelphia, which include rings, trophies, and even a jersey from when he played in Italy.

An unsuspecting woman in a park in San Francisco was delivered a ring by a remote control helicopter. As she was shooting a family video with her husband, all of a sudden she spotted a small helicopter hovering in.  The helicopter was equipped with both the ring and a Go-Pro camera on board, to capture it all. Once the helicopter landed, Jason Muscat got on his knee to pop the question.  She said yes.
