Shooting Hoops with Spider-Man

In Manhattan's Chinatown on Saturday, Spider-Man walked right off the pages of Marvel Comics and into a basketball game with a group of kids at the P.S. 1 playground. It turns out the man behind the mask was Andrew Garfield, who has been filming the sequel to the Hollywood blockbuster "The Amazing Spider-Man" in New York City over the past few months.

Girl Calls Out McDonald's

A David and Goliath battle over the fast food so many of us love started when 9 year-old Hannah Robertson called out the top executive at McDonald's at a recent shareholders meeting for "tricking kids into eating your food." The child's mother, Kia, blogs about how parents can make healthy food choices for their kids, and has criticized the company's advertising for getting children to "keep bugging their parents" for items on their menu. The CEO answered back telling her they don't sell only junk food, they also sell salads, adding that his own kids eat McDonald's too.
