Pass the Doritos, Deer

Monroe County, Fla., police came to the rescue of a fawn with her head stuck in a bag of Doritos. The deer wandered over to their police car and calmly allowed the deputies to remove the bag from her head. Without so much as a thank you, the fawn then scampered back into the woods. It seems even Bambi has a snack attack every now and again.

Cyndi Lauper Wins

In May, she was a "World News" person of the week, but Sunday evening Cyndi Lauper took home a Tony award for the musical "Kinky Boots." Lauper is the first woman to win the solo award for Best Score and later tweeted out a picture of herself with her new prize. She wrote: "You go around the world looking for acceptance … forgetting that all you've got to do is look in your own backyard."

UFO Sighted in the Netherlands?

Straight from the "X-Files," a mother and daughter say they believe they spotted a UFO while on vacation. Corinne Federer and her mother took snapshots while in the Netherlands that reveal a clear sky over the landmark Muiderslot Castle. The two were shooting High Dynamic Range imagery - a technique that requires images taken in rapid succession - and some of the photos show a strange object with small fins in the sky. Experts say the photos prove it was moving at supersonic speed. Critics claim it's just a bug on the lens. As the debate rages on, perhaps "the truth is out there."
