Serena Williams Defeated at Wimbledon
Serena Williams’ Wimbledon days are over for this year. The 31-year-old tennis star was defeated today by German tennis player Sabine Lisicki. The 23-year-old pulled off the upset, ending Williams’ 34-game winning streak with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory. “I’m still shaking,” Lisicki said in a post-match interview.

Dog Almost Causes Crash at Tour de France
A small white dog nearly caused a huge pileup at the Tour de France Sunday when it went running into the path of a pack of cyclists during the second stage in Corsica. The owner went running after the little dog but wasn’t able to grab it before the racers came. The dog ran to the other side of the road and the owner was able to safely return to his side.
