July 4 Hero Tackles Escaped Convict There's no better way to celebrate America than with a true hero. On July 4, a man jumped into action when he spotted an escaped convict at a convenience store. The man, dressed in the American flag, recognized James Myers and tackled him. Others jumped in to help and tied Myers down until police arrived. Myers escaped from an Ohio prison Tuesday night and had been on the run for nearly a day.

Kerry Washington's Secret Wedding Kerry Washington's secret wedding was so private that we're just finding out the "Scandal" actress got married at a very small ceremony in the middle of nowhere. The 36-year-old married her boyfriend, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho. The couple had been quietly dating for a year.

Turtles Make Mad Dash for the Sea It was turtle time in the Caribbean when dozens of tiny turtles got a big hand making a treacherous mad dash to the sea. Shortly after the endangered loggerheads first poked their little heads out from the sand, volunteers on the island of Bonaire lined up to protect the stampede from hungry sea birds. Many of them yelling, "Good luck guys, just keep swimming." For more on the story, click HERE.
