WHALE RESCUE: A regular fishing trip turned into a rescue mission Friday as a fisherman off Virginia Beach, Va., came face-to-face with an endangered right whale that was caught in fishing straps. Adriane Colaprete, also an experienced diver, was able to swim up to the creature and cut it loose, all while filming it with his GoPro camera. He later told WVEC-TV, "It's something bigger than me… it was probably one of the best feelings of my life."
