Lea Michele Speaks on Monteith Death
The “Glee” star spoke out for the first time today, since the July 16 death of costar and boyfriend of more than a year Cory Monteith. She tweeted a private snapshot of the two during happier times and thanked fans, adding that Monteith would forever be in her heart. The message was retweeted 50,000 times in 20 minutes. Monteith died of an overdose.

Royal Baby ‘Georgie’
Prince Charles opened up about his first grandson for the first time today. According to The Mirror, Charles said he was “pleased as punch” about the new royal baby. Prince George Alexander Louis was born last week to proud parents Prince William and Kate Middleton. Charles also revealed that the newborn prince would likely be called “Georgie.”

The Real Griswolds Hit the Road
For the 30th anniversary of the movie “Vacation,” which starred Chevy Chase among others, the real Griswolds of Canton, Ga., drove 400 miles in a tricked-out Wagon Queen Family Truckster to Florida’s Disney World. The family said they’d been teased about the film connection for so long that they figured they might as well go for it.
