Police Searching for Norman Rockwell Painting Police in New York are searching for an iconic Norman Rockwell painting after it vanished from a storage locker. The painting graced the cover of the Saturday Evening Post in 1939 and has Rockwell's signature on the bottom. It is now worth more than $1 million.

Sprite Is Named Best Hangover Cure There is new scientific evidence in that age-old search for the best hangover cure. Researchers in China compared 57 drinks including a Bloody Mary, herbal tea, black coffee and Sprite. The winner was Sprite because it quickly breaks down the enzyme that makes hangovers feel so bad. Herbal tea makes symptoms like headaches and nausea worse and "hair of the dog" didn't work too well either.

Downton Abbey Would Cost More Than $8 Million t o Run A financial website has figured out what it would cost in today's dollars to keep Downton Abbey running. The gas, oil, electricity, tending the gardens, cleaning chimneys and the lumber to keep the fireplaces burning would equal a grand total of $8,365,292 a year. The new season of "Downton Abbey" is airing right now in the UK but fans in the United States will have to wait until January.
