Oscar Nomination Snubs, Surprises
The Oscar nominations are out. Some fan favorites such as “American Hustle” got big nods, including all four of the film’s main actors. There were also some surprises. Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey and Robert Redford were all snubbed of nominations. Meryl Streep scored her 18th nomination. She was first nominated for “The Deer Hunter” 35 years ago. The Academy Awards airs March 2 on ABC.

Katy Perry’s Surprise Welcome in China
Katy Perry is touring China tonight and she received a surprise welcome. The Chinese National Orchestra played her hit “Roar” with traditional Chinese instruments.
