Mutts Allowed in Westminster Dog Show
For the first time in 138 years, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the gold standard for canines, will allow mutts to compete, at least in the agility contest. All other prizes, including Best in Show, will still be only open to purebreds. The mutts will have their shot next month when the Westminster Dog Show comes to Madison Square Garden in New York.

Pastor Gives One-Minute Sermon so He Can Watch 49ers Game
The afternoon service for Pastor Tim Christensen in Butte, Mont., coincided with the San Francisco 49ers playoff game Sunday so he decided to speed things up. “Would you all like to be forgiven for your sins? OK. Great, you are. There’s some bread and wine up here on the table. Feel free to help yourself,” he said. “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. OK, we will.” The pastor had a 49ers T-shirt under his robe. God apparently didn’t mind the abbreviated sermon — the 49ers won.
