Police Officer Busts a Move at Mardi Gras A New Orleans homicide detective put the police work on hold and took a break to get down with the local community at Mardi Gras. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the dancing cop has a long history of breaking out moves in the city. Det. Winston Harbin, who told the paper he learned "The Wobble" for this year's Mardi Gras celebrations, was stationed along a parade route on Saturday when he showed off his moves.

Male Lion Meets Cubs for First Time A male lion's patience was tested at the Oregon Zoo when he made his public debut with his new cubs. The trio of cubs poked and prodded the 500-pound lion until he jumped onto a boulder. Though Dad showed his teeth a few times, the outing ended without incident.
