British Character Actor Bob Hoskins Dies at 71 British character actor Bob Hoskins has died. The actor starred in popular films such as "Hook," "Mermaids" and "Mona Lisa," which earned him an Oscar nomination. His most well-known role was opposite a cartoon bombshell in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" Hoskins said acting with Jessica Rabbit was a little like hallucinating and his doctor told him to take months off after filming wrapped. Hoskins was 71.

New York Teen Accepted to All 8 Ivy League Schools Picks Yale A New York teen who had enticing offers from all eight Ivy League schools said today he will attend Yale in the fall. With the fanfare that is usually reserved for elite athletes announcing their college picks, Kwasi Enin announced his decision at a news conference in the gymnasium at William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, N.Y. Despite his success, Enin said never in his wildest dreams did he think he would get into Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale. Enin, who is also a violinist, was accepted to Princeton in December and then heard from the remaining seven schools on March 27. Enin has said he wants to follow in the steps of his parents, both immigrants from Ghana, and study medicine.
