Bush Gets Surgery

Former President George W Bush joined 719,000 Americans who have knee replacement surgery every year. The avid mountain biker had a partial knee replacement this weekend and is said to have tackled a flight of stairs just hours after the procedure. He is home now and reportedly recovering fast. Last year, Bush had heart surgery after doctors found a blocked artery.

A Brutal Reality Check

American workers learned today that the median pay for an American CEO has skyrocketed to more than $10 million — a new record and 257 times what the average employee earns. CEOs have a rocket-fueled stock market to thank for the big pay jump.
