Audra McDonald Breaks Tony Record

Audra McDonald can now call herself a six-time Tony award winner. She won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Actress in a play for her performance as Billie Holiday in "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill."

The Broadway star walked away from her big night with the distinction of being the performer to win the most acting performance Tony awards. McDonald is also the first performer to win in all performance categories, according to Playbill.

Great White Mystery

What's more dangerous than a 9-foot great white shark? How about whatever ate it? In a Smithsonian channel film, Australian biologists tagged a massive female shark and were monitoring her movements until her tag washed up on the shore.

The tag's data showed that she had plunged about 2,000 feet and that her temperature had gone up 30 degrees. The team's conclusion: She's likely inside an even larger predator that may be about 16 feet long and 2 tons.
