August 22: Doomsday?
While no extra safeguards are in place, U.S. law enforcement are not ignoring the possible significance of tomorrow’s date, August 22, a date that marks an important historic event on the Islamic calendar. Internet websites have been full of speculation that it could be a target date for terrorists in commemoration of the return of the 12th imam, a supposed day of reckoning for Shiites. August 22 was rumored by intelligence experts to be a possible date that the London plotters would blow-up passenger planes headed towards the United States, though it is not known if the suspects were Shiite extremists. This year, August 22 marks the holy day on the Islamic calendar that is the day of reckoning for Shiites. Some Shiite sects believe that August 22 could correspond to the end of the world. And just today, after much hype, Iran has announced that it will continue to develop its nuclear program. To followers of Iranian President Ahmadinejad, this is a well-timed affront to Israel, the United States and the world. The United Nations had given Iran until the end of the month to respond, but Ahmadinejad had made it clear to all Iranians and the world that he intended to respond on the eve of August 22. Whether or not this announcement is the end of Ahmadinejad’s plans for August 22, one expert says we will have to wait and watch. "The only thing we can know is that the date was not chosen by accident," said Robert Spencer, Director of Jihadwatch.org and an adjunct fellow at the Free Congress Foundation, a conservative think tank. "It does seem very likely, very probable, that he has something major in mind, whether only a major announcement or a major attack, we will soon see."

Amadinejad was wrong. He said that August 22 was Miraj (Laylat-ul Mi’raj) or 27 Rajab. However, today August 21 is 27 Rajab and of course the day starts at sundown the preceding day. So, what’s the significance of August 22 or 28 Rajab 1427??

Nothing to worry about. Mike Wallace of CBS has assured us all that Ahmadinjead is an “alright” guy (he HAS to be for sharing Wallace’s hatred for president Bush, according to Wallace.)
Nothing to see here regarding Iran, move along folks.

Seems amazing that a date which has been predicted or better yet is an object given to human manifest destiny would be so ignored by the american news mediat or given any public notice from our USA (sic, Fed) government. Obviously it was meant not to scare our western society, but with ignorance of fact comes the punishement of education come to late? I hope not.

Wow, I wasn’t aware that tomorrow is the day of reckoning for Shiites. I’ve heard, though, that the ‘element of surprise’ is worth more than actually doing something on a religious day, so I’m speculating that August 22nd will be a normal, secure, safe day.

Such a beautiful world, filled with so many beautiful people.
So much to learn. So much to see and do.
What a shame that there are those who want to destroy it all.
What a shame we can’t all get along.
What a shame, the lack of love for fellow man.
Life is short. The afterlife is here soon enough.
What a shame that life cannot be enjoyed.
What a shame.

What a shame people over react to nonsense from loons. The vast majority of 6 billion human beings are living in peace. This war is tiny compared to the slaughters of WWI and WWII or the butchery of the Pol Pots of the world. Democracy is spreading like a wild fire across the globe. Yes there are problems, yes there is still great trajedy. But we have come so far. And the zeolots that currently commit Jihad, run Iran or a N. Korea days are fading fast. They cannot survive in a free world. They cannot stop freedom.
August 22nd?
It will pass like it does every year, and I doubt history will make much note of it.

I love the first comment from “Stu”, who probaly thinks all Republicans are neo-nazis or something of the like, would blame the so-called “neo-cons” if something happened instead of those who actually commited the act like Iran, etc.
It’s that kind of sick thinking that is going to get millions of us “infidels” killed around the world because we don’t worhip at the alter of Islam. Me, I prefer to blame those that actually commit the act.

With world events spinning out of control, people every where need to stop asking where fault lies and look to themselves for positive change needed for the survival of humanity. At the bottom of the fight is global energy resources, as I am led to believe. One answer to avert crisis is-google E85. It’s moonshine that can be used to run some cars that are referred to as Flexfuel. This fuel can be made easily by each of us and may save the world. The consumer is driving this war not the leaders, and the consumer can change the outcome, that’s you.

His passion for martyrdom and seeming willingness to lead his people there, with or without him, in order to advance his own rise as an unparalleled leader in the Islamic world should be terrifying to us all. His desire is no less than the spread of Islamic law to your backyard!

Everyone needs to remember that this isn’t the “Neo-Cons” or the “end of the world” believers that are saying this. This began from a RENOUNED expert on Islam, Bernard Lewis (87 years old). He is called in by think-tanks, the US Government, Europe, etc whenever they want to know something about Islam. HE stated they COULD be planning something (and he rarely states something publicly) because of Iran’s PM and coincidal timing of the 22nd with the Islam calendar and the current crisis. Remember, we are not dealing with rational people there. If nothing happens, so much the better. But, I for one, am thankful for his letting us know that something MAY happen to raise our awareness.

seriously… when will people realize that Shiite’s were not the ones responsible for September 11th (it was Sunnis), and that perpetrators for the London bombings were also not Shiite, and the alleged hijackers who intended to blow up the transcontinental planes were also not Shiite. In fact the entire Al-Qaeda organization is Wahabi Sunni’s who believe Shiite’s to be a perversion of Islam and believe killing a Shiite muslim a religiously justified action.
Shiite’s aren’t your problem, it’s fanatic Sunnis.
Zarqawi == Sunni.
Bin Laden == Sunni.
All the 9/11 hijackers == Sunni.
All the London Bombers == Sunni.
All those involved in the plot to blow up 10 transcontinental planes == Sunni.
And you’re afraid of Shiite attacks? Get a grip.

Iran’s President Satan has said:
“Those Who Want Good Relations with the Iranian People Should Bow and Surrender to its Right and Might.” This, incidentally, is the first look into how the Democrats plan to wage the war on terror if they regain the House, Senate and White House.
Checklist:
1. Take oath of office
2. Surrender to Iran’s Right and Might
3. Kiss everyone’s behind who feels offended by America’s superiority, terrorists specificially
4. Beg the rest of the world to like us again (cry on national TV and announce we have removed all security from our borders)
5. Shield eyes from 27 terrorist dirty bombs going off in 15 major U.S. cities
6. Complain Republicans didn’t do enough to keep America safe

I’ve been reading quite a lot about the significance of this date and things do seem to point to some sort of “armegeddon like” occurance happening on August 22nd (with the “fire over Jerusalem” reference in mind). But, just like many christians have predicted catastrophic events to no avail throughout the centuries – so will the muslims see this day pass like any other as well (hopefully -for mankind’s sake).

On a serious note, in a country (USA) with so many personal liberties we should expect to see more attacks here at home. It is a direct effect of living on a free (sort of free) community. I am not yet willing to sacrifice my freedoms for security. When the Gov’t takes our freedoms in the name of security, you won’t have anything worth securing, I promise. Don’t let the gov’t, news agencies, and the terrorist scare you into loosing your constitutional right to be free.

I thought I would NEVER say this, but I am glad we went into Iraq, and I am glad that we have that madman out of there. Now we have to deal with the madmen from Iran, Syria, North Korea and Al Qaeda. This is very far from over.

Fear is the tool of Satan. The enemy of our souls knows that his final day and hour draw near. He wants us to be fearful because that separates us from God. Don’t focus on what you can see, for the real battle is being fought in the spiritual realm…the GREAT news is that the Bible already tells us Who will be victorious. THEY CAN KILL MY FLESH, BUT THEY CAN’T HAVE MY SOUL! God has blessed this nation…now it’s time for us to bless HIM. Surrender…to HIM, not the enemy.

Vote early, and vote whenever you get the chance. More people voted in the American Idol contest than in our last Presidential election. Silence guarantees that we will get the same ineffective leadership we’ve suffered under for too long.

What can they do ? Shoot off some missles at us? Only if they are suicidal. I think the success that the arabs have experienced militarily is due to their extreme willingness to die for the cause. There is no technology in our posession that can defeat that. But if they want to go toe to toe with technology, ie a war with Jets and bombs etc.; we would wipe them out quite quickly. The smart money says that they would give us a fight and then back off to fight a guerilla war. If we are foolish enough to fight these people, I hope that this time around that we have a stated military objective and a viable plan to achieve it.

If Iran does anything tomorrow it will be the testing of the nuclear weapon they have been feverishly developing whilst the EU and the UN threw carrots at them. I just do not understand the Bush Administration: they act unilaterally (Iraq) when they should be acting as an international coalition, and they hide behind an international coalition when they should be acting unilaterally (Iran and North Korea.) John Kerry understood this nuance and would have prevented both North Korea and Iran from developing nuclear weapons. If only Al Gore had been selected President so he could have continued the Clinton Administration’s foreign policy which effectively prevented all of this.
Sarcasm off.

If Iran is smart, they won’t directly use the bomb. Iran will develop it, and by using connections to terrorist groups via Syria, have one of these terror groups. One of Iran’s desired targets is then hit by the bomb, by “terrorists” and Iran can claim, it is not responsible thus limiting allied nations actions through the UN, to yet another “Terse letter”.
Allies to the targeted nation, will not be able claim it was a direct “act of war” by Iran and will look bad in the worlds view if they attempt to attack Iran, Syria directly. Either way Hostile regimes will consider it a win.
Question: Why shouldn’t Iran “drop the bomb” when they can give it to a terrorist group who will glady use it and take blame instead?

Yes, I’m sure the Pseudo-Islamic psychopaths would really care if it was John Kerry or Ned Lamont in office. It’s time you all woke up. These Islamic zealots don’t care if you’re republican or democrat, conservative or liberal, fat or thin, doctor or janitor, tall or short, old or young or anything else. All they care about is whether you mindlessly agree to their perverted subset of Islam. If you don’t, you’re an infidel and worthy of death.
Make no mistake. If they get their hands on a nuke, they’ll run to the launching button. They firmly believe they’ll go to heaven and receive special treatment if they kill infidels… especially if they die in the process. They have a promise of HEAVEN. No amount of negotiating, arbitration, or incentives can come close to heaven. All it will do is give them time to plan more while we sit in ignorance. Israel has it right. Smash them flat while you can.

Do something. I dare you. Go ahead. Do SOMETHING. I so tired of hearing about how scared we’re supposed to be. Guess what. Nobody here in the good ol USA is scared of anything. We’re just waiting for the fall TV season! lol
Posted by: marc | August 21, 2006, 3:52 pm 3:52 pm
The big question is…..ARE YOU READY? We don’t know the time or day when the Lord will return, but we will know the season. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe that this IS the season. Whether it’s tomorrow or not that is really beside the point…..if you are ready. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? He is coming soon!

Today or next week, it doesn’t really matter. Somewhere in the middle east nuclear weapons will be obtained, not in a couple of decades, but in a couple of years. Too much money and too much demand for it to be any other way. A couple of years after that, one of these will explode in a European or American urban center, most likely New York Harbor.

Also noteworthy: that August 22 is smack in the middle of the slow news month of August… Our media doing what they do best, create news. Fear my friends, cauz’ then you watch more TV.

Let’s see how this works when Republicans are in control…
Checklist:
1. Take oath of office
2. let anti-terrorism efforts take a back seat to giving american corporations whatever they want, ignore PDB warning of bin laden.
3. Stare blankly into the camera like a deer into headlights as terrorists kill 3500 americans.
4. Invade the country that supported them, provide a contitution that allows for sharia (Islamic law), and leave before finishing the job.
5. Lose the support of the rest of the world when we Invade a different country that has nothing to do with the problem at hand, provide a new constitution that allows for sharia, and refuse to leave once the job is =obviously botched. Put our guy in charge of the Oil ministry.
6. Provide Iran with a Shiia sister state that supports hezbollah, ensure our troops are within striking distance of Iran and engage in apocalyptic warmongering incorporating biblical language.
7. Complain Democrats want to aid the terrorists.
oh yeah, did I forget to mention:
8. PROFIT! (haliburton, big oil – you know, there just the industries that Bush and Cheney helped run before entering office)

This day will pass with no more relevance than any other.
Terrorism – Anyone who claims to kill in the name of God (regardless of religion) is acting as an agent of Satan. God does not need man to do his bidding.
Peace – World peace will come when we all respect our fellow citizens of this planet with the same dignity that we think we deserve.

Today my boss informed me that our company’s quality problems have been pretty much handed to me to solve. I had about ten minutes for lunch, and haven’t had a single chance to get a cup of coffee all day. The phone won’t stop ringing, and I have to drive 35 miles to get home, with gas at $2.80 a gallon. You really expect me to give a good crap about some Iranian dingbat and his desire to get the world’s attention? Good Lord, folks. . . get a grip. Life is real, life is earnest. Too much goin’ on to concern ourselves about stuff like dates, times, and seasons.

Look to those two for the real problem in America’s future, they have a common enemy…US.
So Sleep well my fellow Americans, the 22nd will slip into the PAST.
Fear is beneath us, we didnt come this far to succumb to Fear.
Want to upset the enemy? Flourish, that’s what makes America great. Do it in spite if you have to, by any means necessary.

There is insanity and stupidity and Hatred in the world.
About 20 percent of americans say bush caused it and that it will go away if we elect a democrat and say we are sorry.
About 20 percent of americans say it was caused by democrat neglect, and it will go away if we kill or arrest the leaders.
About 10 percent of americans say kill em all.
I guess that leaves about 50 percent of us who realize that neither Republicans nor Democrats caused this, and that neither party holds all the answers to solve this.
It must be that other 50 percent’s arrogance that believes The US was the one that caused, and will be the one to solve problems.
Hatred, Insanity, and stupidity are all over the planet, the US included.
George Bush has the courage to do what’s right, but not the wisdom. John Kerry had the reverse problem. I guess I prefer Pres. Bush.
The Stupid people do nothing, The Insane People spit venom all day about the other political party, and the Haters say kill em all.
Maybe the world will end tomorrow.

All the fundamentalist patriachs who can’t get past the New Testament (or whatever) of wrath and tribulation are dinosaurs. Given anything short of a world collapse (which of course is something many Christian right-wingers – including Bush advisers – want), modern communications and education are going to eliminate right-wing conservatism in all its forms.
Bin Laden got lucky; then we got unlucky and Dubya spent all our money and blood on things extraneous to really making us safe. Disgusting.
And, no, not a Bush hater. Hate’s too strong an emotion. “Hatere” is easily called out by those who think it’s a natural state of the human mind, which it is now.

Forget Buchanan’s declaration of the Third World taking over this country, if the U.S. doesn’t deal with the zealots in the Middle East, these countries, with Saudi at the financial helm, will unite in their mission of hatred, become stronger in numbers, and most certainly deal with us in time. Americans have this sense of invincibility stemming from the heroics of the men and women leaders during our formidable years as a determined, brave and proud country. The media has so influenced opinion, through their constant mockery of our present day leaders, that the voting population can’t even rationally think beyond the next election, let alone the future state of America or the very serious threat our enemy presents. We’ve been involved in some pretty dumb wars since the 1960′s. It is increasingly apparent that the world does not respect, nor fear, our potential. If ever there was a time for America to get back in the history books for demonstrating sheer will, bravery, determination and pride, it is rapidly approaching.

You don’t have to believe in a religious war to be a victim of one.
Whether you call it a shark or not, as it eats you a bite at a time, you die nonetheless.
Proposal;
Institute a draft, train and heavily arm a 4 million man US army.
Declare martial law for 6 months. Ban all media from Iraq, Iran, N. Korea, and Syria.
Wage real war the “old fashioned” way.
Help to rebuild the ruins with the help of the surprisingly motivated survivors / masses in the above countries.
The old fashioned way; Peace on Earth through Surrender. (remember that word?)

This is all Bush’s fault. If he hadn’t stole the presidential election from Al Gore in 2000, Gore would’ve made some sort of back door nuke deal with Iran a long time ago, just like Clinton did with N. Korea. No, Bush screwed us on this one. Gore would’ve done what was necessary to make us feel safe and that means giving hostile governments what they want to shut up for a decade or two. Not to mention when Bush screwed us in the 2004 election. We could’ve had John Kerry as our president. Kerry would’ve shut up these Iranians, and that means giving them the technology they want (see need). Bush is the biggest problem in this world. He is the biggest terrorist in the world right now, almost bigger than Clinton was.

“Posted by: Howard Kyle | Aug 21, 2006 2:28:43 PM…In WWII we boarded up the Japanese when we were at war with Japan. Today we are at war with islamo fascists….& yet we permit all mosques to remain open. We are doom ourselves because of our policital correctness & socialistic policies. We should board up all mosques & put the entire ACLU on trial for sadition. Maybe then we’ll be a little safer.”
Amen! I just wonder when WE…The American people are going to start doing something about this. The ACLU is already slowly killing us with their changes of law for everyone except those that seem to be real Americans. Just exactly what is their agenda and how do they stay in business? How many of our rights have been taken away because of them? How much more does a muslim religion have over mine (or yours). Wake up America, if the muslim fanatics do not kill us, the ACLU will always help them along.
If you have fear over all of this, then perhaps it is time to get your heart right with God (if it isn’t already). If you fear them, then truly they have already one.

Didn’t think I would see the day when we have forgotten the history of WWII. Hitler and his thugs wanted all Jews dead, then they expanded to everyone but “arians.” Send 3 Trident Subs to the middle east, declare WWIII and kill them before they kill us! We fire bombed Berlin and Tokyo…killing hundreds of thousands of people…to punish them for causing the war and to cause them to sucumb and give up their cause. HAVE WE FORGOTTEN FASCISM? Have we forgotten the Peace Makers failed in the face of fanaticals and that we had to kill them all to save American lives. God is on the side of the Peace Makers.

You know what is funny about the whole situation? This whole thing could have been nipped in the bud years ago if the U.N. would have quit dragging their feet. If you think about it, the worse danger is Iran already having the bomb, giving it to someone else, letting them do the damage, then saying “Hey, it wasn’t us.” If Kerry were president we would be speaking Islamic. He would bow to these guys. Nothing will happen tomarrow of utter impotance to the U.S. That I am reasonably sure of. The rest of the world…I am not so sure.

This is nothing more than another fear tactic designed by the increasing shills for Bush administration version of facism.
I am reminded of this stated by one of the bigegst facists of all:
“Why of course the people don’t want war … But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship … Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
- Hermann Goering, Nazi leader.

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Ahmadinejad, like Hitler, suffers from grand delusions. He did not need Mike Wallace as much as he badly needs quick doses of Prozac. It’s not too late to get him back to reality.

Hopefully, Iran will do nothing tomorrow, but if, by chance, they do something crazy, I’m sure the conspiracy theorists have already written their stories about how the U.S. was at fault, and we did it to justify whatever happens afteward. We could never do anything right in the eyes of those that hate the US. We could save the world from an asteroid collision and people would complain that we did it wrong. This is why I cannot find much credibility in those who never cease to criticize this country.

Perhaps it’s time to recolonize the Middle East. If we get our NATO allies and Russia together with us and invade the entire Muslim Middle East and re-establish European run colonial governments, we could save a lot of money on oil and put an end to government sponsored terrorism. Russia could administer Iran, France could administer Syria and Jordan, Britain could administer Egypt, and the US could administer Iraq and the Arabian peninsula. Western oil companies would run the oil fields and all financial/political power would be denied to radical muslims. Maybe in the next century that area might be ready for independence. In the meantime, bring back the colonies.

Got your tickets? Got mine! Front Row Baby!
When the world ends
Collect your things
You’re coming with me
When the world ends
You tuckle up yourself with me
Watch it as the stars disappear to nothing
The day the world is over
We’ll be lying in bed
I’m gonna rock you like a baby when the cities fall
We will rise as the building’s crumble
Float there and watch it all
Amidst the burning, we’ll be churning
You know, love will be our wings
The passion rises up from the ashes
When the world ends
When the world ends
You’re gonna come with me
We’re going to be crazy
Like a river bends
We’re going to float
Through the criss cross of the mountains
Watch them fade to nothing
When the world ends
You know that’s what’s happening now
I’m going to be there with you somehow, oh…
I’m going to tie you up like a baby in a carriage car
Your legs won’t work cause you want me so
You just lie spread to the wall
The love you got is surely
All the love that I would ever need
I’m going to take you by my side
And love you tall, ‘til the world ends
Oh, but don’t you worry about a thing
No, ’cause I got you here with me
Don’t you worry about a
Just you and me
Floating through the empty, empty
Just you and me
Oh, graces
Oh, grace
Oh, when the world ends
We’ll be burning one
When the world ends
We’ll be sweet makin love
Oh, you know when the world ends
I’m going to take you aside and say
Let’s watch it fade away, fade away
And the world’s done
Ours just begun
It’s done
Ours just begun
We’re gonna dive into the emptiness
We’ll be swimming
I’m going to walk you through the pathless roads
I’m going to take you to the top of the mountain that’s no longer there
I’m going to take you to bed and love you, I swear
Like the end is here
I’m going to take you up to
I’m going to take you down on you
I’m going to hold you like an angel, angel
I’m going to love you
I’m going to love you
When the world ends
I’m going to hold you
When the world is over
We’ll just be beginning…

I’m tired of those who keep elevating the liberals to the ranks of enemies of the U.S. Just because those of you who say it doesn’t mean it’s so.
It reminds me of the early fifty’s MacCarthy’s scare of a communist around every corner. Fear was preached then also. And it was SOOOOOO wrong.
The opposite of preaching fear is not appeasement which these fear mongers are trying to sell us, but an objective approach to the problems which seems to be the Democrats methods.
Scare the hell out of the shallow minds who can’t think their way out of a paper bag. As for me, let’s discuss other options that blowing ‘em up.
People fail to realize that Iran was at time, one of the most westernized societies in the middle east and if we haven’t pushed them over the edge, the population is still very much pro-american.

Bush has done more for the national security of this country than the last few democratic presidents combined. Bill Clinton stood back while the US was attacked here and abroad five (5) times during his Presidency (The Cole, WTC1, Two American Embassies etc). What a record. Ok, These events are real, the hate, the terror, the killing. These are not made up by Dems, Reps, Media, whatever.
People want to take, kill, force, impose thier will upon others.
Let me ask though, who is really behind it? Deeply ask yourselves, take a minute..
I attest that we have to be convinced to fight each other, to kill each other. Someone has to do that, build us up. That’s what’s happening now, the build up.
Then the real fun starts and we get to off one another while the string pullers watch and inherit the aftermath. We’ll be begging for them to take care of us then. Anyone seen V for vendetta? It’s like a commercial for all of this.
We can only watch unless we’re willing to give up everything to change it. Are you willing yet? What do you really have to loose anyway?

It may sound really crazy but oh how I wish there really was such a thing as a star gate,(ie the si-fi show),. Earth is/has been a beautiful place for a long time but…there has to be somewhere else out there to go. Imagine, a place without religious/political wars, clean air and water, nice folks/aliens without weapons or the desire to use them, until we get there anyway. Endless beaches and flying cars. I’m there. Back to reality, maybe if we can just get through the next few years without ending our species. Oh well. No star gate really sucks.

A little clarification about Al-Miraj, which is the date on which Mohammed ascended to heaven. This is celebrated by all branches of Islam; it is not a strictly Shi’a holiday. I live in Oman, and there is a two-day public holiday starting tomorrow — actually today, as I write.
Another thing: since the Hijra calender is lunar, the date changes each year in reference to the Gregorian calendar used in the West. Each year, the Hegric calendar moves back against the Gregorian by 11 days. As for the Hegira, that is the term for the trek Mohammed and his followers made when they were forced to leave Macca and go to Medina. That was the year 0 for Muslims.
As for Mohammed Ahmedinejad, although he may be a bit of a fanatic, one must remember that the Iranian presidency is not nearly so powerful as the American presidency. So far as I know, he cannot declare war or even order attacks. Anything that dire would have to be approved by Ayatollah Khamanei and the Supreme Council of Ayatollahs (Don’t know the exact title, actually). I doubt if there’s much likelihood that anything spectacular will happen today.

Replying to an earlier commenter, if Kerry had been President, the patriot act and the wire tapping would never have happened… but yet, that’s part of how we caught the terrorist activity in the UK.
As a former Jihadist said yesterday, It’s a choice between the possibility of the government hear you talk to your wife…or blowing up in mid-air. Take your pick.
As he also said, Iran IS behind more than we know. In fact, everything.

Don’t fool yourself – the 2nd coming of the Imam was written over 1000 years before the Bush family existed – this is not a US conspiracy. Tomorrow, Iran is performing “military exercises”. They will either do a parade and show off their military, or use their military and kick off WW-III.
Pray for peace tonight REGARDLESS of what you believe (I’m an Atheist praying to mother earth), this is no joke, and has nothing to do with US politics. Iran has the support of China and Russia.

Brothers & Infidels,
I blog you from my palace in Tehran. August 12th was the final episode of “I Dream of Jeannie”, whom everyone knows, was from Baghdad…the best looking Muslim babe ever, although I cannot recall if she was a Shiite or Sunni.
Major Nelson was, of course, a son of satan, and Roger Healey the son of a jackal.
Good day,

It’s amazing that everyone is talking about fear this and fear that. What is there to fear? Someone will attack someone again. Only this time it will be us most likely. Is this something to fear? I say not. Let us get this out in the open and get it over with. Remember the war of the worlds, the way it began, “it was the turn of the century, and as we went about our busy lives, we were unaware that we were being watch, studied…” (my words kinda, but you get the drift), well here it is the turn of a century, and they have been watching and studying. They know our fear buttons, they know exactly how to manipulate out pathetic media, yes, they have been watching and learning. Look at what they do in Lebanon with the Israelis. Most of the world looks on Israel as monsters and aggressors, not knowing the facts of the constant shelling they have had to deal with for years. Yes, time for a head on confrontation. I just hope this wakes the fantasy/utopians in the west from their rose tinted funk and they get with the program. This is a war for our very existance, people. … watch this: THE US SUCKS, BUSH IS GAY, AND GOD IS DEAD! Now if they win, you will never see anyone be able to say such things. (*those are not my sentiments at all, I was using shock and aw-man-what-an-idiot)
So, fear? Nah, this old Georgia boy says bring it on. We’ll shell ‘em where they cower, be it in a bunker or behind a woman’s skirt.

I do find it interesting that the libs know so much about the Nazis. If they knew just a little bit more they would know who Yasir Arafat realy was and where the term IslamoNazi comes from.

WhWhat is happening in the world has not taken God by surprise. It was even prerecorded by our Creator for those with “ears” in Daniel 12, Mathew 24, Luke 21 and all of Revelation. Assuredly hard time are ahead and yet not Islamic fanatics, Russia, China, my beloved USA or even the arch deceiver-the Devil will defeat God’s plan intimated to Abraham, and culminated at Calvary to save the whole world. King Jesus is Coming!

gene is totally wrong Joe Mcarthy was correct in his assumptions, as recently revealed KGB documents have proven. The socialist party of democrats are saying peace in our time, much like Chamberlain before Hitler was unleashed due to “an Objective approach”. People who strap C5 on their children and believe thats rightous cannot be “objectively” approached on anything. There is a weakness of mind here, to that I agree.

12th Imam, 12 sheeman. Whatever, they are an impotent people desperate to try to remain relevant. I wouldn’t worry at all. I mean, we can literally eliminate them with one push of one button. A finger is all it takes, just a finger. I hope you do bring it on Iran; pay back time is just around the corner. Time to repay your debts for taking advantage of our restraint for so long… our patience with your regime is all but gone.
You want to be a world power Iran? You want to play with nukes? You want to threaten the United States and our allies? You want to deny history and remake in to your own? You want to shackle the freedom, thoughts, and progress of men? No problem, just be prepared for resistance of what’s to come… and no it’s not the 12 imam, it’s the full force of the United States unleashed; something that until this point has been restrained because we are prudent and responsible people.
A people can only take so much of your threats, so much of your slaughter of the innocence. But go ahead and keep pushing. Awaken the full determination of the American people and we will destroy you at any cost. Your grandiose visions of the Caliphate and human slavery will be lost in the parking lot of a country you will have when we are through with you. Your own impotence will be magnified for eternity and you’re slaughter of innocence will finally cease. Go ahead Iran, make my day…. Cause the only real justification for the elimination if your regime is you. Let’s roll…

-Iran is ‘working on’ nukes, hasnt it been publicly announced by the DOD that they are YEARS away from actually having a nuke?

If you believe something, chances are someone paid a lot to get you to believe it. In the case of 911, it was the government that spent a lot of money to cover up what they did. In the case of my Lord Yeshua of Nazareth (a.k.a., “Jesus Christ”), he paid with His life to get us to believe in Him. True Christianity is too fantastic to have been invented by man. Seek Him while you can.

Why do people like to predict the end of the world? The only accurate prediction about the end of the world is that someone else will be predicting it again next week, and next month, and next year, and long into the future until an asteroid hits the planet on the first day no one has predicted the end of the world.
There’s no doubt that Amadingyjihadist will pull some extreme shenanigans before his early demise, and will undoubtedly bring down a good number of innocents with him, but it will NOT be the end of the world.

The only real question that all of us needs to answer is AM I READY? When we are ready it doesn’t matter when the end of world is and whether or not it is the end of the world or simply the end of your life. So the real question is….What have you done about Jesus? Are you ready to meet Him tomorrow? What about tonight if you should be killed in an accident or have a heart attack in your sleep. What this old world does is not nearly so scarey when we know that eternity is settled and our destination is sure.

Just like eating falafal does not make you greek nor eating burrito’s make you knowledgeable of 2 worlds or going on a carribean vacation does not mean you understand simple folks who serve you with a smile.
You need to get out there and feel and know how the societies of the world thinks. Enrich yourself by opening your minds to diverse thinking.
You cannot have all the stockpile of distruction and expect the world to follow suite. Practice what you preach and the world shall follow.

One has to wonder how different things would be had Jimmy Carter supported the Shah and allowed the Clerical movement to languish. Iran would probably be the regional powerhouse, economic and military, that she would like to be had the Shah prevailed. But today we face a quite different situation, fueled by a past President that refused to offer even verbal support in a land that blamed the CIA on earthquakes and saw plots behind every corner. Now we are at odds with that ancient country and the stakes are extremely high for all of us.
The unfortunate fact is that when Iran presents a credible strategic threat to Israel, Israel will have to react decisively to protect herself. As one looks at the map, about 90 percent of Iran’s population lives in or near six large cities. It will be a terrible shame for 6000 years of history to be vaporized but that outcome is all but unavoidable. We need to do some long range planning to address the impact of a fifth of the world’s oil supply being radioactive.
Posted by: jmcress | August 21, 2006, 6:48 pm 6:48 pm
Rich…check your facts…the US financed the Shah’s rise and kept him there for years…His good relations with Israel and the United States and his active support for women’s rights were moreover a reason for Islamic fundamentalist groups to attack his policies. On January 16, 1979 he and his wife left Iran at the behest of Prime Minister Shapour Bakhtiar (a long time opposition leader himself), who sought to calm down the situation. Bakhtiar dissolved SAVAK and freed all political prisoners, and allowed Ayatollah Khomeini to return to Iran after years in exile, asking him to create a Vatican-like state in Qom and called upon the opposition to help preserve the constitution, promising free elections. Khomeini rejected Dr. Bakhtiar’s demands fiercely and appointed an interim government on his own. Shortly after, with the military announcing their neutrality in the conflict, the dissolution of the monarchy was completed at the hands of the revolutionaries led by Khomeini.
Short of sending in the troops and taking control of Iran, there was not much Carter could do about that. To lay the blame for the Shah’s downfall is typical uninformed reasoning by another intellectually challenged conservative seeking to blame Carter and Clinton for all the problems that exist in the world today!
Posted by: Dave | August 21, 2006, 6:48 pm 6:48 pm
Okay, so maybe we cannot say exactly what will happen on 22.August,but we can discern Iran`s intentions rather easily. I think it is not a question of whether or not Iran will take some sort of action on a certain date, i`m fairly certain that they will do something. I`m going to agree with those who take the stance that nothing “bad” will happen tomorrow, but chances are something will happen, no? Well, whatever it may be, what is to be shall be done, with or against my will…

and by the way…the Shah died in July 1980…you forget that detail? You really think Iran would have been the “regional powerhouse” with another year of “support” for the Shah and his cronies? Maybe if he had invested all the riches he looted from Iran in Iran and its people and not ruled by the fear and intimidation of his Gestapo like secret police, the SAVAK, the ground would not have been so fertile for Khomeini!

Bush’s biggest mistake was not sending 500,000 to 1 million soliers into Iraq when we invaded….secure the nation…sending in National guard units to then take over the cities from the active military—letting the active military march right into Syria and Iran…..and taking over the damn nations.
WWII taught us that we were at war with Nazi’s….we stopped the Nazis and took over their nations….we owe the Islamic world the same thing–total destruction of the enemy. The Middle East would be a much better place right now if this had been Bush’s plan. Bush needed to be Roosevelt BOLD….not halfway/halfass.
Destroying Nazis wasn’t racist…..neither is destroying Islamic extremists. Unfortunately PC may be the reason Islamics are marching in the streets of Washington controling our nation one day soon.

George Bush has made the world safer. I know more and more people die everyday, new wars are starting, we never caught Osama bin Missin’, Iraq has (according to our CIA) become a terrorist training ground, many more Muslims hate us than in 2001, we’re getting ready to invade yet another sovereign country, new terrorist plots are being hatched daily… Wait, how are we safer again? Must be all that liberal crap in my head, but I guess I forgot.

Try this, cut and past all this pro-Bush, sarcastic nonsense and paste it in one window, then cut a paste all the well thought out answers in another.
Interesting huh?

Interesting, scary, but them I have seen the “beast” and had a hold of it’s chains. It is not so easy to set a nuclear yield off. Nor can many weapons be modified for “hand held” use.
The Imams and teachers claim that Nuclear Weapons are not forbidden to the Faithful, and will not harm the faithful, only the infidels, the pigs, the dogs, the Christians and the Jews.
Hmmm, they really need a field trip to Hiroshima, or to the Nevada Test range, or the old Soviet version of the test range…
“Light in the sky” huh? Great do an air burst over there and see how fast we can wipe you out. The EMP will be a bigger deal for you tha for us.

Iran, if you push Israel or the USA you will see hell but no virgens; The prophet Zechariah predicted this scenario more than 2,000 years ago, writing, “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered against it.” (Zechariah 12:3)
Those who would advocate the destruction of Israel would do well to read through Zechariah’s entire prophecy, recalling that Israel can do much more than target Hezbollah strongholds, should the Jewish state be pushed to the limits of its endurance:
“And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.” (Zechariah 14:12)
That’s not propaganda. That is prophecy.
Push Israel too far, and it just might make the transition from the realm of future prophecy to that of recorded history.

I don’t know but I don’t think you could call Jesus a liberal. Yeah I get that he was a man of peace, but he did stand against evil. To call him a liberal because he was peaceful in spirit is sort of, well, wrong. That also assumes that Conservatives aren’t peaceful… which I also think is, well, wrong. I mean I don’t know Jesus personally but the liberal agenda of pro-choice, pro gay marriage, strict separation of church and state (no school prayer), quasi-communistic big government, and pot brownies sort of run counter to what I’ve heard was his teachings. I mean I’m no bible thumper but I think you just smoked yourself stupid, dude.

I don’t know why we don’t take advantage of the fact that our enemies stop everything to pray five times a day. I would consider those five free shots; why should we afford the very embodiment of evil any respite as long as they insist upon targeting and blowing up innocent children and civilians in addition to proudly exhibiting their ghoulish barbarism on internet broadcasts. They hijack a religion to bring nothing but misery to their people and the rest of the world and yet we can’t do a thing to stop them. Thank God for the U.N. because it did so much to prevent this and it surely, surely will do more in the future. As soon as their done raping and pillaging empoverished African countries under the banner of peace-keeping. And the word has the tamarity to call us the evil ones and lay blame at our doorstep for every misfortune or injustice they befall. Where are Eisenhower, Patton and MacArthur when you need them?

Nope (unless of course Bush is stepping down than I personally don’t think it should be called Doomsday,LOL)

The real terrorists are the ones who kill over 60,000 americans a year
from being drunk while they drive.
Others, like the bush “administration,”
are drunk on power and demogoguery from their own words and deeds,
and created the mess in the middle east we face now.
I’d certainly like to own the arms manufacturing plants resupplying the war effrort, or own the multinational companies that rebuild countries—like Cheney’s old company…
Does anyone remember President Eisenhower’s warning about the military indisrial complex taking over?
”
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
and this from President and Genral Eisenhower:
”
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.”
and this
“Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels – men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.”
and finally:
”
If men can develop weapons that are so terrifying as to make the thought of global war include almost a sentence for suicide, you would think that man’s intelligence and his comprehension… would include also his ability to find a peaceful solution.”

Every American would fight to the death to save our way of life. We would never allow some extremist fringe to take over our government, the congress, the supreme court, the white house. We would never stand for surveillance of our citizens, exclusionary amendments to our constitution, or…,oh. Nevermind.

It’s not going to be tommorow, but the clash of civilizations is rapidly approaching. Those who spite everything the west has accomplished are so desperate to tear it down that they are willing to kill themselves to do so.
In the cold war, we had Mutually Assured Destruction to prevent a doomsday scenario. These people don’t care about being destroyed, and that’s a huge problem. They are willing to sink the entire ship if they can’t have the upper-deck.
So rest assured, this will end catastrophically on one end or the other, lets just hope our governments can see the clear and present threat and respond with sufficient force before that end is ours.

I love how there’s people just casually tossing out the ideas of using nuclear weapons on the middle east. I’m not saying they aren’t asking for retribution, but what the nuke happy folks out there don’t seem to realize is the implications. A nuclear weapon that we would use on Iran would potentially be 10 times as powerful as the ones we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The level of devastation visited on that region by a single large yeild nuclear weapon would be mind boggling. You think the world hates us now? Wait until the NYT runs a front page story with some Iranian children covered in radiation burns. WWII era block busters can level entire cities, and there’s no unpleasent birth defects.

It’s a well known secret that our interest in the middle east is a desire for access to their old fields. In addition,we are extremely concerned with the spread of nuclear weapons there.
We have the answer to most of our problems in Brazil where they run most of their cars on ethanol made from sugar cane. Sugar cane ethanol is much more efficient than that made from corn and is more economical than gasoline. If we were to switch over and eliminate the biggest requirement for oil the price of oil would drop thru the floor. In addition our desire to involve ourselves in that region of the world would deminish accordingly.
The countries that are now awash with oil profits would find themselves back in the same situation they were 20 years ago.POOR Without all that money they would be severly restricted in their efforts to produce nuclear weapons.
Problem solved!!!

You want to make a difference, then shut up and go vote and live with the results that a majority of your piers decided. Oh, I forgot we can’t even do that anymore because everyone is “stealing” the elections and locking up minorities so they can’t vote. Iraq’s citizens showed up in numbers that put this country to shame and we are supposed to be the example of a government for the people by the people? Really, open your eyes America, please.

This whole thing is one big show and the tax payers are paying the big price to watch it. The fact remains, 9-11 was caused by the Saudi-Pakistani-Taliban path. If any thing that was/is the real Axis of evil. Even today, the London bombers were of Pakistani background and were trained there. Pakistan has a nuclear bomb, has been selling off their technology, and the country is run by a military dictator through a coup d’état and harbors extremist Madras training. Why we have not gone after them is a surprise to me.
I do know that Israelis have gotten nice contracts in Iraq, from supplying the US Military with fuel (what a joke) to rebuilding airports and building the communication infrastructure.
The show must go on…

No, no, no August 22, 565 – St. Columba reported seeing a monster in Loch Ness, Scotland
The vita of Columba is also the source of the first known reference to the Loch Ness Monster. According to Adomnan, Columba came across a group of Picts who were burying a man killed by the monster, and saved a swimmer with the sign of the Cross and the imprecation “You will go no further”, at which the beast fled terrified, to the amazement of the assembled Picts who glorified Columba’s God. Whether or not this incident is true, Adomnan’s text specifically states that the monster was swimming in the River Ness — the river flowing through the loch — rather than in Loch Ness itself.

As was predicted the EU and UN diplomacy efforts were a miserable failure. At the end of the day the Iranians will do exactly what they want without fear of reprisal from either the EU or UN.
All this has accomplished is to give the Iranians more time to hide their weapons programs and make them more difficult to locate and destroy.
An all out attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons programs is the only option left because sanctions as we’ve seen in the past don’t work.

In 1775 the attacking of those with rank as a priority, the formation of civilian based militia, and the use of guerilla tactics would surely be described by those in faux control as terrorism. However, without these tactics, we would not have a country from which to speak the words we can.

The only way to fight terrorists and their supporters is to fight them the way we fought the Japanese in WWII. Kill them before they you. There were plans afoot to nail Japan with chemical weapons prior to any invasion. Estimated deaths were at least 5-million if this would have benn necessary. Our enemy has no qualms with wanting to kill us on a mass scale. Niether should we have any qualms about pre-emptively doing the same thing to the terrorists and the countries that support them. The Russians during the Cold were rational – the Islmo-terrorists are not. Nuke ‘em! Do it now!

Believe what you will. All that has befallen man has come to pass many times over. Know simply this; All who have read, have heard or seen this day come has lost the innocence of mankind’s history. The tribulation has started and behold we shall see all come to pass as it IS written. Know this to; That on this day we all have the eyes to see and hearts to know where the truth lies. Fear not the liars for they are easily seen, but beware those that speak of safety and peace for their intentions are truly not their intention. This tribulation is not about how you praise he that has no name, but That YOU PRAISE HIM. This is the side of light in the battle against darkness and the darkness has spread. Know that IT IS AMONG US, but fear not for the light is here too. So take from this day the knowledge that there ARE ONLY 2 sides in this fight and YOU CHOOSE YOUR SIDE. And the Arch Angel Michael said “If you choose light then stand behind me for I AM THE LIGHT that will smite the darkness. Choose darkness and you WILL fulfill all that has been written by all that is man. For Gabriel revealed unto John all that has come to pass and I WILL send the BEAST to his place in HELL where all that are the darkness must dwell.”

Reading these comments makes me scared to be an American. So many people want to “see my tax dollars at work” in the form of weapons of mass destruction – the very ones we haven’t “yet” found in Iraq. I hope that all of you people in support of conflict are in the military because if you are not, you are displaying the same hypocritical nature as someone who seved in the National Guard instead of serving in Vietnam.
Most liberals are not afraid to use force. But there is a drastic difference in merely using force and using force effectively. I don’t hear many liberals angry over the war in Afganistan because I think they realize the importance of force as the only real option in a dangerous situation. Contrary to that front is Iraq, a country that the president lied in his reazoning about invading and one that is not nearly as serious of a threat of North Korea or Iran. However, simply “nuking” these countries would be the most ignorant thing of all time.
A military conflict with either of those countries would involve millions of people and potential deaths. I think it is sensible to explore other options. And we can do this while killing plenty of terrorists.
Characterizing liberals as wusses is as silly as characterizing all conservatives as idiots.
And this religious zealotry has got to go on all sides. My mother always said most stuff is fine in moderation. The same is true with religion.
Do not fear. And nothing will happen tomorrow (today).

The comments are the scariest part of the issue – both sides of the fence (GOP and DEM) are flinging mud at each other, and not addressing the real problem. Clinton and Bush passed policies which eroded our civil liberties. Muslim fanatics control the disenfranchised youth of the Islamic world. The US media cares more about selling advertising rather than a balanced view of the important issues. More Americans know who Paris Hilton is than can name the Secretary of State.

Just some thoughts-
1.Why would the islamic P. Admenjihad(heh heh) nuke Jerusalem? Dome of the Rock is there,a holy site for Islam {3 different religions(Judiasm,Christianity,Islam)} he claims to be a devout follower of Allah
2.China and Russia both with large nuclear arsenals get large amounts of oil from Iran-if we attack Iran we may have to deal with those 2?
3.The USA gets approx. 20% of it’s oil from the Middle East and in dire emergency could probably makeup the shortfall from sources in the near vicinity of home-might not be pretty but things won’t stop stone cold
4. Saudi Arabia is an ally of convienence at best- biggest funder of world terror due to deals cut by the Saud family with hard line clerics to keep their heads on their necks
5.Iran has enough military to close Straits of Hormuz to tanker traffic for a time-cuts off world oil supply(Japan especially)
6.North Korea Wildcard-give Iran nuke?
7.increased tension in Far East-China Japan USA at loggerheads over many things chinese military fastest growing in world wants Taiwan back increasing unrest at home looking for a scapegoat and long grudge with Japan
could be the makings of a worldwide war-remember Sarajevo and the assassination of Franz Ferdinand-hope not

This is part of the Islamophobia the US administration wants the Americans to live in.
First of all in Islam the Hijri dates (lunar calendar) being used instead of the gregorian date. Secondly, the Shiet sect in Islam is not that committed to fight the west compared to the Sunni counterpart.
By the way, how do you want to stop violence by violence? have you ever heard fire extinguishes fire?

Is this the sideshow for those of us who are sick to death of hearing about “Mr. Pervert-Looking for Attention and Limelight” and what he had to eat on the plane, etc., and all about the JonBenet Case?
Is that it? We get only 2 “major” news stories: an alleged murderer vs the alleged end of the world.
Hellooooooooo!
Hey, ABC, why don’t you go out and find out what the REST of the human race is doing?
And that goes for CBS, NBC, SkyNews, BBC, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
Stop insulting our intelligence with stuff worthy of the National Inquirer.
My, oh my, how journalism has sunk to new stinking depths.
A few suggestions? What’s going on in the Middle East (besides the lunatic running the shop in Iran); what’s going on in Africa, in Latin America (how many Arabs-turned-”latinos” crossed our borders today?), Russia, China, North Korea (the “Borg” Society); the trafficking of human beings and other forms of slavery (including the clinical ones -exploiting the unborn for medicine and even cosmetics); what’s the Pope doing these days? Surely he is more newsworthy than that lobster eating sicko who has fixated the nation on himself and poor little JonBenet. How much more treachery and betrayal is going on at the NY Times lately? Anymore “aid and comfort” given to the enemies in terms of how we are observing them and trying to thwart acts of terror? Did anyone say anything about what the Italian authorities found and stopped recently? No, the media sycophants are all mezmerized by Ramsey case.
Gosh, we sure do learn much more of what’s going on via cyberspace, don’t we?
Drudge, Smoking Gun and others have you beat by light years with info. Why don’t the media moguls wise up?
If the world ended tomorrow, so would the insipid stories, the stupid inaccuracies, the dishonesty and corruption in the business of NEWS.

“This is part of the Islamophobia the US administration wants the Americans to live in.”
What “Islamopobia”??!! A “phobia” is generally an “imagined fear”.
The planes that flew into our buildings and killed thousands of our people were not imagined. Neither are the bombs which have been set off to kill innocents.
Don’t blame our government.
The onus is on those who chose to interpret their religious texts in such a way as to justify murdering others who happen to live and worship differently. May such people grow up spiritually, mentally and emotionally until they will love their own children whom they incite to violence more than they hate their enemies.
The outcry should be over the senseless loss of life and the injustice done by some Muslims towards others including fellow Muslims. There seems to always be a huge outcry when something happens to Muslims. Where is the outcry when it is done to others by Muslims? Why do they suddenly become so quiet? How many innocents must be beheaded because they happen to be non-Muslim or westerners? How many more innocents must die in wars and bombings and violence?
I await Islam’s leaving of the Dark/Middle Ages and its entrance into Renaissance, Reformation and Enlightenment. I will applaud it when it finally moves in that direction.
When all else has failed -the UN, “peace talks”, diplomacy, patience, etc., and our peoples’ very lives and safety are at risk, then it is time to “fight fire with fire”.
“Speak softly, but carry a big stick” is what President Teddy Roosevelt once told the nation.

There is no Islamophobia in the United States.
There is, however, a phobia in the Muslim World of the West.
The way to a stable Middle East is to empower the people of the region to establish democracies and free-market ecomomies. Only through freedom and democracy can mankind persevere.
To answer your question, Ayad: violence is the only way to stop violence. Those who would murder innocent civilians by strapping suicide vests know nothing else. The easiest way to be rid of suicide bombers and IED makers, is to kill or capture them.
International Terrorism and Radical , Violent extremism is the disease.

The Federal Air Marshal service has not even mentioned this date anywhere in e-mail and it is business as usual.
The computer generated schedule that calculates out as close to a ten hour day as possible has not taken august 22 into account. After all, that would require outside imput, unlike intelligence that should be figured into that equation as well.
The most fatigued people on the plane are usually the FAMs who are forced to fly these pointless routes in order to make their management look good for their statistics that they tout for bonus money.
Did anybody realize there were no Air Marshals on the flight from London where the woman was claustophobic and possessed a screwdriver?
Its because the statistics needed to be kept up for the meaningless routes domestically so some ex Secret service retiree manager would get a larger bonus this year. The FAMs that could have covered that London flight were pulled to fly a route that had absolutely no threat whatsoever (but it was a 9 hour and 55 minute scheduled day)
Does this wasted FAM time make you, the public feel safer?
What if someone on that flight really tried to hijack the plane?
Is it a good strategy for the FAM service to only cover these high risk flights only when they are in the news?
(In this particular case, the news cycle hadn’t even played out yet)
I think the FAM management owes the public and Congress an explanation as to why they are exuasting their FAM coverage on meaningless routes that fatigue flying FAMs while at the same time high risk flights go uncovered because the computer cannot “optimize” that route for a scheduled ten hour day.

RE: Ayad Iraqi’s post
The theory (i.e., that August 22 of the year 1427- rajab), may coincide with a cataclysmic event initiated by Ahdmadinejad has been espoused by an expert of Middle East studies named Bernard Lewis. The Rajab Calendar (or Muslim calendar) is based upon both the birth of Muhammed, and the lunar cycle. If you believe that Mr. Lewis is an agent of the Bush administration, I truly pity you. As an American, however, it is your right to make accusations born of ignorance.
Lastly, there is only one way to defeat an enemy that would, through whatever means, kill you; that is, of course, to kill your enemy first.
Keep this in mind, if you were an Iranian you would not have the freedom enough to even post a comment on Ahmadinejad’s new “blog.”

It’s strange how this is the big story in America an nowhere else.
I wonder why that is???
What is so special about America that would make Muslims want to blow it up apart from the 40,000 or so civilian deaths in Iraq? You are not the only “western” or mainly Christian country in the world so if that is what they hate then why not bomb most of Europe.
Wake up!

“have you ever heard fire extinguishes fire?”
No. But we remember the lessons of WWII.
How many Nazis are in power in Germany today? How many Facists in Italy? Or those who espoused the views of 40′s era Imperial Japan.
The lesson of history is: violence works. You just have to apply it in sufficeint quantities.
We haven’t gotten there yet with Islamo-fascism (or whatever you’d care to call it), but the day is fast approaching.
As for those of you who maintain the Shia are no threat: you have but to listen to their own chants of “Death to America” to know the falsity of such beliefs. Stop dreaming and start apprehending actual reality.

Also, to all the dumbbells who use the idiotic term “islamo-fascist”. Fascism is a well defined ideology, which entails a totalitarian state married to the corporate world. That describes Bush’s views much more than the “Islamic” extremists, who have no use for the corporate world. What they want is a Theocracy. Oops, here I go describing Bush again. My Bad!

Yes, I have heard of using fire against fire. It is used out west for wildfires, and also used are explosives to fight oilwell fires.
What I haven’t heard of is radical muslims wanting to kill me being condemned by the moderate muslims. That’s what I haven’t heard. Islamo-Facist want to kill us and no amount of “talking” or “negotiating” will dissuade them.

August 22nd, SO WHAT? To those of you who think the way to stop terrorism is to negotiate I say get a grip! To those of you who seem to forget what happened on 9/11 I say get a grip! To those of you who think appeasing the terrorists (meeting with them and giving them what they ask for and demand) I say get a grip! On second thought I say when your IQ reaches 50 SELL! Any American who thinks terrorism is being brought on more heavily by our fighting it you are sadly mistaken (IMO). In any case some of you will never get it until an IED explodes at your feet and takes your life and the lives of many innocent others. Hmm, remind you of 9/11 or have you already forgotten? I say taking the fight to the terrorists in their country keeps them away from the USA and if they come here we should use all means to find and catch them. Yet, some are against that as they say their rights are being violated! I guess they prefer body bags instead! The world is changing folks, get use to it. The rest of you can turn a blind eye and wait for us to get hit real hard again and then point fingers at everyone else. That’s the easy way out.

Controlled fire limits the spread of uncontrolled fire. Ask any firefighter who has ever worked a forest fire. Of course, you have to know which way the winds will blow.

It’s time to consider a strategy that permits the middle east (and whatever parts of Afica and Asia are compelled) to revert to the nomadic tribalism they seem so intent on. Let them have the caves. Maybe the only way to move forward is for them to go back, even if it’s back 1000 years. Repeat the Dark Ages it worked the last time.

I had to laugh when I heard that today was (or is) Armageddon (or something like that). I believe the nutjob there in Iran said that he wanted to show a bright light over Jerusalem in commemoration of the fanciful night flight of Mohammad. Well, that doesn’t sound like the end of the world to me. Maybe he want to shoot off a fireworks display.
He knows that anything he shoots towards Israel will be intercepted by their Arrow missiles (they do work on Scud types you know, not the smaller Hezbollah types) and then Israel will give Iran a trashing back to the Stone Age. That nutjob may talk the talk but let’s see if he is really, really ready to let the Genie out of the bottle.

Ahmadinejad is part of the Hojjatieh. A sect of Islam that believes that chaos must be created to hasten the return of the Mahdi, the 12th Shi’ite Imam.
You’ve never heard of fighting fire with fire? It’s a common and useful tatic where a fire can be contained buy using a contained burn to create boundries.
That’s what I think we should do. 100% santions and a naval blockade.
Look at a map. We have already got them blocked in by having troops in Iraq and Afganastan. We could use out navy to block in the persion gulf. We could problebly get Turkey and Turkmenistan onboard.

We can blame all of the world’s leaders. We can blame the Generals or the bankers or the fundamentalists or even the military industrial complex.
But the truth is the responsibility for ALL of the killing in the world rests solely upon the men and women that are willing to put their finger on a trigger or a launch button and press it and kill other people simply because some one told them to. They are the mindless cowards that hide behind the excuse of “just following orders”.
They are the killers not anyone else. We all face choices in life and either one decides they will kill or not. Without these mindless godless cowards all of the despots in the world would be totally powerless.
Support our troops,”Bah Humbug!”.

Ayad,
have yu ever heard of backburning. they use that in fighting forest fires and it works. Oh have you heard of WWII I think the US used something called force there. While the US would prefer to use peaceful ways it is hard to talk peace to a nation that glorifies death. Remeberthe japanese they preferd death to surrender until we dropped the Atomic bomb. they surrendered real quick then. so all this talk about having a bomb I just want the Iran to know 1 thing. We already have the bomb and we have used it.

The American people are by and large a “you leave us alone and we’ll leave you alone” type of people. But should Iran foolishly wish to test this country or our president even further believing that we are so “bogged down” in Iraq that we couldn’t possibly respond to an attack on the US or our interests I think they will be in for a surpise. Not even the liberals in Congress with their “America is the problem” philosophy could quell the outrage of the American people to an attack on us. The Japanese made the same mistake. What Iran fails to realize is that we don’t need ground forces to deal with them. We have more than enough planes, bombers and missles in the region to turn Iran into a parking lot. And thank God we have a president who wouldn’t be afraid to use them in a repsonse to some insanity out of Iran. That would send a clear message to terrorists all over the world. If the Iranian president really believes that the end of the world is at hand we can certainly give it to hin starting with his country. Honestly, I this point I don’t care how many innocent Iranians get killed. If they would clean up their own house they wouldn’t have the problem. Nobody cried over how many innocent Germans or Japanese got killed in WWII. The purpose of war is to win. To defeat your enemy and remove his will and ability to fight back. It’s time we show these pathetic excuses for members of the human race with their cartoon religion just what a real jihad is. American style.

Those of you who dismiss even the *notion* that something of interest might occur on 22 August, or that the current leader of Iran is an extremist even by Muslim standards, is ignorant of reality.
Something might happen on 22 August, then again it may not. I don’t know. But I do know that ignoring the radical basis from which Ahmadinejad governs merely because you think it’s “stupid fearmongering” is, itself, stupid. To dismiss the possibility that 22 August represents a significant date on the Muslim calendar is an abject failure to recognize fact.

Ayad Iraqi wrote: “By the way, how do you want to stop violence by violence? have you ever heard fire extinguishes fire?”
Yes, Ayad. I have heard that, actually. It’s called a backburn. When fighting a forest fire, at times you’ll need to create a “no-man’s land” so the fire can’t continue to burn an area. You start a fire of your own to burn off the fuel (vegetation) that’s there. You can also plow it under with a bulldozer so that there’s only raw earth and nothing for the fire to “catch” on. The mullahs of Iran are the fire. We may need to create a firebreak by starting a backburn. They’re clear on their intentions. Cue Dr. Evil music…”World Domination” of Islam, oh, and yes, “death to all the JOOOOOOS.”
BTW. God bless and protect the Persians from their power hungry mullahs. God bless and protect Israel from those who would commit evil in “god’s” name.
That is all.

No weapons, no matter how powerful, can help the West until it overcomes its loss of willpower. In a state of psychological weakness, weapons become a burden for the capitulating side. To defend oneself, one must also be ready to die; there is little such readiness in a society raised in the cult of material well-being. Nothing is left, then, but concessions, attempts to gain time and betrayal. (from article by ? “The Usual Suspects”)

Islamophobia? You’re kidding right?
Definition of “phobia:”
A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous.
A strong fear, dislike, or aversion.
———————————-
There is NOTHING irrational about fearing those who want to kill us.

In 1995 a terrorist attack took place here in Oklahoma City. As a first responder I worked for 26 days trying to dig “people” out from under the rubble until I was injured. Believe it or not, I didn’t ask even one person who they voted for in the previous election. Nor did I concern myself with which president, politician, or government agency might be to blame for it or who might stand to make a profit from it; and there were NO conspiracy theories discussed that day. These were non-issues then and for me they are still non-issues and I resent anyone trying to make them the issue.
I care as much about what happens to Americans today as I did that morning, not because of who you voted for, but without the slightest regard for it. And I know that regardless of which breed of politician is sitting in the White House, some lunatic somewhere in the world is planning to murder more Americans. I’m not going to sit around in fear of when that might happen. But I can guarantee all of you political cultists, when the day comes that one of them succeeds; if I can be there to help, I will be there! And I will NOT ask you who you voted for or who you think is to blame for it before I help you, because I DON’T WANT TO KNOW! And as foolish as it may seem I expect the same from each of you. BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT BEING UNITED IS ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!

Let’s see. Iran practicing “war games” and testing missiles with a range of150 miles..hmmmm…nothing much in the range of those puppies….except….hey…wait a minute…aren’t the bulk of America’s fighting forces somewhere near there?
Ah…probably just a co-incidence. And we of course know, with WMD certainty, that Iran does not now (wink wink) possess any nukes with which to inflict permanent and final damage on said fighting forces…Gee, wonder what the results of such a tactic would be on our ability to continue to hold off the “insurgents” in Iraq…Hopefully they will never think of this plan, if they did, they would probably also think to drop a few in the seas surrounding the whole area…you know…our Navy and stuff…ah well, only a mad man would act on such thoughts ,so we’re ok. And besides, if it did happen, it would only take a month or two to get the left and right in this country to form some type of response. Of course, if Kerry were in office, then no problem, just a question of which shade of white should the flag be?

You guys with the “we’re losing our liberties!” rants crack me up. Talk about scaremongering. At least the terrorist threat is somewhat plausible, since the jihadists have, in fact, successfully blown things up and killed lots of people before. The idea that this administration is going to suspend elections or the Constitution is just laughable.
You guys make such a big deal over the PATRIOT Act and the TSP and so forth, comparing it to Nazi Germany of all things. Trust me — you fools wouldn’t know fascists if they broke your bones. (And you’re too ignorant of history to know what fascist’s quote that phrase refers to.) You have no problem with government restricting liberties and privacy in so many areas of your lives; the powers government has gained to conduct counterterrorism aren’t fundamentally different from the powers it has to investigate Medicare fraud or income tax evasion.
If fundamental American liberties were threatened, I would be at the barricades standing next to the patchouli-soaked trustafarians. But the preening vanity of those who pretend that ANY expansion of government power to enable it to catch terrorists is the End Of Democracy As We Know It is just silly. Nothing that’s been done in connection with the war on terror comes close to what Wilson, FDR, or Truman did in the name of national security. Hell, there’s nothing to compare with the institution of income-tax withholding in the 1940s, with all the government investigative powers that came along with it.
“Those who will trade liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor security.” Benjamin Franklin never said that, because he wasn’t a fool. EVERY act of government involves a tradeoff between liberty and security, whether it be gun control, speed limits, or antidiscrimination laws. The glory of democracy is that we the people get to hold representatives accountable for the balance they strike, and (ideally) have a reasoned discussion weighing the benefits and burdens of each measure. But when you guys take the position that ANY expansion of investigative powers means that America is no longer a democracy, you lose all credibility with me.

After all, it is Aug 22 and think of the PR coup it would be for them!!! 2. How many Glenn Beck viewers are going to banish him from their DVR to-do lists tomorrow when nothing significant happens today (as expected)???

I think a August 21st was a worse day. That’s when I watched K-fed’s performance of the Teen Choice awards. I thought maybe the four horsemen were gonna storm out on the stage after that horrible performance.

It is my birthday. Surely reading this and knowing how much people pay attention to this date, I feel special although I got not much going on on my birthday. Thanks, worried people!

Everybody has an opinion, and here’s mine:
1) MY OPINION: People haven’t changed much, I would guess, from the beginning of time (though I wasn’t there when time began). People fought each other and disagreed, and everybody had his/her own opinon. It’s just more noticeable now since we have “modern” technology to spread those opinions around the world…..as well as having hundreds of millions more people. So whatever is being said or perpetuated is just a lot LOUDER!!!
2) MY OPINION: Fearmongers have always been around, ready to turn any prediction of events into their own form of prophesy……putting their own “spin” on things. This isn’t necessarily done maliciously, either…..it’s just that each person (I would guess from the time the first humans walked the Earth) has had his or her own opinion of things…….shaped by personal experiences and beliefs. Chicken Little wasn’t a BAD chicken; he was just reporting the sky was falling because that’s what he really believed! But in his zest to share his thoughts with others (hopefully for the benefit of others, as well as himself)he got it all wrong. Was he being irresponsible or not? What is YOUR opinion??
3) MY OPINION: If ANYONE believes that one man (in this case President Bush) is as powerful and also responsible for so many bad things happening in this world (things I read on this board and hear all the time on tv news and from members of opposing political parties)…..then MY OPINION is that people who believe all this are not thinking clearly. Does ANYONE really believe that one person has this much power and control?? I certainly don’t, whether that person be a Republican or a Democrat…..or a “whatever.” I think it’s just easier for people to “explain away” and to “justify” to themselves (the things they don’t like that our government does) by putting all the blame and responsiblity on ONE person. When such terrible decisions are made, WHERE are all the people of the President’s cabinet, the Senators, the Representatives, the advisors, and all the OTHERS in different gov’t agencies in Washington (government officials) when the President is unilaterally making all these wrong decisions and doing all these bad things??? Are they all asleep? Can they not talk? Does no one ever object? Are these terrible decisions all made on a “spur-of-the-moment” basis?? Don’t try to tell me that ANY President makes all these decisions alone……or that any one political party is responsible for ANY major decision made during ANY President’s administration!! In my opinion, that would be simplistic thinking. Again, IN MY OPINION.
It’s so easy for any of us to complain about things……but how many of us are willing to put out the effort to make our thoughts on any subject known? How many of us take the time to contact our elected officials with letters or phone calls or petitions? Or maybe you belong to the group of people who either a) don’t vote, b) are too lazy to make the effort, c) choose to believe that you can’t make a difference, so why try?, d) would rather complain about this country and its government than take responsibility and try to do something to change things…..mainly because you are the type of person who LIKES to complain, e) you are a “follower” and so just tend to echo what you hear others complain about instead of thinking things through, f) you have a need for acceptance and approval by those around you, even if it means you sacrifice your own individualism, g) you are basically “uninformed” about this country, its history, how the government works (right or wrong), or what you yourself want for your own and your country’s future……and you are this way REGARDLESS of your PPP (political party preference, or
h) all the above.
4) MY OPINION is that everyone alive has the right to choose whether or not to believe in a SUPREME BEING. I’m not talking about “religion” here, since many people equate “religion” with any statement any person makes regarding God (or allah or whatever!) There’s a difference.
Religion, in some form, has been around since the beginning of time. People might have worshipped a rock, a tree, a moon, or anything else they chose. There have ALWAYS been religious wars, throughout the history of mankind, and there always WILL be, in some form. And for those of you who don’t believe in the God of the Bible, that’s your choice. I personally DO believe in that God, and in no other! And God gave mankind “free will,” so that you can go on boards like this and denounce Him and say that all of the world’s troubles stem from the fact that people are “fundamentalists” or “religious fanatics” or say intelligent things like “grow up!”, etc. Your right to say those things stands; MY OPINION is that any person can say whatever he or she wants about God or religion and “make fun of” Christians or other believers “til the cows come home.” You can do that, but it doesn’t necessarily make you intelligent nor does it make you “right.” I would suggest that you (who are Christian-bashers or God-bashers) exercise a little restraint and get a little “class” for yourselves……….sometimes it’s in better taste to treat others the way you yourself want to be treated.
The truth is, I really DON’T care what you say……all I’m saying is that you’d sound more informed and more intelligent if you also sounded more tolerant…..after all, isn’t that the “politically correct” thing to do, anyway??
Also, I tend to think (MY OPINION AGAIN) that many people who bad-mouth Christians (or other believers) do so out of ignorance and fear. Yes, FEAR….fear of that which you do not understand, AKA “fear-of-the-unknown.” Otherwise, why would it be so important to make a point of bad-mouthing those who hold different beliefs than you yourself do?? (And NO, I am not bad-mouthing you non-believers here; I am merely stating my opinions…….but I am doing so without saying that you are the REASON for all the conflicts in the world! I would never say that, because I know you are NOT). On the other hand, do you believe in forces of “good” and “evil” in the world? Do you believe there has always been a war between good and evil? (You don’t have to answer that; I have my own opinion anyway). But have you ever heard
of Satan?
Before you respond that Satan is fictional (and IF you have no fear), then why not make a study of both good and evil as written about in the Bible? Read about it all and see what you think; if you already KNOW that you don’t believe the Bible is true, then why fear reading it?? And why not do the intelligent thing and INFORM YOURSELF about that which you so readily deny….rather than just blindly denying God or Satan or the Bible?? (Also, while you’re at it, go read in the Koran…..inform yourself on the religion of Islam…..and then see if you can better understand SOME things that are going on right now in the world!!) Take a few weeks to read, then come back to this board and make a post from an informed point of view.
Personally, I agree with those people who believe that Christ is the answer to everyone’s problems…HE is the only way you will ever be able to make sense of this world (in MY OPINION)and to be able to live forever after you leave this earth…..in a place with no war and no problems (aka, HEAVEN)….. now, who wouldn’t want that?? Christ IS my Savior and my Answer, and He is the ONLY answer……for ME. Inform yourself, then make your own decision about what you believe…..from an INFORMED point of view.
Believe what you will, but allow others the same privilege without feeling you need to blast those whose beliefs differ from yours!
And think (at least if you can) before you criticize the President because he is a Christian! How utterly ignorant-sounding when I read a post by someone who accuses the President of being a Christian, as if that is something BAD!! Would you same people use such an accusatory, derogatory tone if the President WERE John Kerry or Al Gore……or if the President you were criticizing happened to be Islamic, Buddhist, atheist, etc., etc., etc.?? I sincerely DOUBT you
would. So why use that tone or manner toward a President who is a Christian?? (MY OPINION, again, is that you do it out of FEAR…only the kind of fear that you have deep inside you, the kind you FEEL and cannot talk about……..the kind that is an instinctive fear…..again, fear of that which you do not understand, in this case, Christianity. And for those of you who will ADMIT that fear to yourselves….WHY do you suppose you feel that way toward Christianity?? You don’t need to answer that, except to yourselves).
5) MY OPINION: I also agree with those on this board (blog) who think that we as American people need to “re-discover” our WILL and DETERMINATION to fight for our country and our way of life!! We need to quit being lazy and stop this insanity of being afraid we will “offend” this group or that group in the world! In other words, if we “bend over backwards” to please everybody all the time…..and if we just keep bending and bending, eventually we’ll bend too far and break. Won’t most twigs snap if they are bent too far backwards?? (Yes, even the green ones!) What happens when you try to please everyone at the same time?? How many people do you end up really pleasing??
And think of it on a personal level: what happens when you try too hard to “make friends” with people or try too hard to “get along with” people?? Usually, trying too hard earns you contempt, ridicule, etc…….and only shows your insecurity and lack of self-confidence, comes across as being weak or desperate, and makes you a target of disdain. Generally speaking, of course.
I, for one, have ZERO respect OR tolerance for people who would kill others for the sake of killing, as in the case of the terrorists (to me, in my way of thinking, “JIHAD,” as viewed by the terrorists, is an attempt to justify the ruthless killing of innocents…….a mostly successful attempt to “blind” the robotic suicide bombers and other terrorist murderers into believing they will be rewarded in Heaven for killing others……be it Christians, Jews, or even Islamic people). Obviously, you don’t have to be an “Infidel” to be on the terrorists hit-list. That in itself, in my opinion, greatly weakens the argument made by the terrorists that Allah tells them to kill Infidels to get their reward! Can you see the fallacy here?? Can you see the evil at work?
I, for one, would not kill another human being EXCEPT in self-defense or in defending another member of my own family. My God does not tell me to kill others to obtain my “reward” in Heaven; on the other hand, He does not tell me that I cannot defend myself or my loved ones. (Yes, one of the Ten Commandents is “Thou shalt not kill,” but you must remember when the Commandents were written and under what circumstances…..that is, in the Old Testament. Some of you might argue that my killing in defense of myself or loved ones is breaking a Commandent, thereby making me a hypocrit…..or that I am a moral…or Christian…”relativist.” This would not be true, but to begin to understand you would need to study the Bible in depth first).
So the terrorists are not afraid to die fighting for what they believe?? Well, neither am I!! And I agree with those posts stating that we have to have the same outlook if we are to successfully fight these fanatics!! That does not mean we have to be suicide bombers (a disgrace to the human race) or that we have to TRY TO GET OURSELVES KILLED!!! All it means is that we have to have NO FEAR in fighting this war against those who would hold terrorize the world and paralyze the world with their cowardly “scare-tactics.” I, for one, am NOT afraid of them.
In fact, why is it that people think we NEED to fear terrorists?? We don’t need to FEAR them, but we DO need to be AWARE of them and their intentions. I personally think we need to get them to the point of fearing US!! Not that they would necessarily fear dying, but they MIGHT learn to fear failure and extinction……..if we all just decide one day that we’ve “had enough” and battle them in every way possible!! That is, militarily, psychologically, economically, degree of willpower, determination, intelligence, stamina…….to name a few of the ways. It CAN be done……but will it?? Only WE can make it happen, as a people who are sick of this “bullying” by the “cowardly” terrorists!!
Well, I’ve said enough…..really, too much. I didn’t mean to write a “book” when I started…..so sorry to all of you who think I’m long-winded. Anyway, as I’ve stated, these are MY OPINIONS, and you don’t have to agree or disagree, of course.
God Bless America, and God Bless You as a person…..no matter who you are, where you are, what you believe…..you were created by the same God. I hope you know that, even those of you who might be one of those wanting to kill all Americans…..to you I say “Give it up! There’s no way you will ever accomplish your goals. It will never happen. God is not going to allow it to happen, so save yourselves some time and trouble.”

In the fifth commandment, the Hebrew word “ratsach” is translated as “kill” in the King James Version of the bible. A more accurate translation of the commandment is:
“Thou shall not murder”
There is no equivalence in the English words “murder” and “kill”, found either in the bible, moral law, or civil law.
While all murders are killings, not all killings are murders. So as far as the ten commandments are concerned, no soldier is breaking any commandment by the simple act of fighting — whether reactively or proactively — to protect their home. Moreover, the bible goes on to clarify that not all murders are prohibited. So to Sherry’s point, less ignorant piety (mine, hers/his, your, … ours, theirs, …) and more grounded discussion/righteousness will be more helpful.

I read this sort of thing and I don’t know whether to feel sorry for the webadmins at abcnews.com or to envy them for finding a machine that sucks clicks out of the fingertips of the gullible. OH my God, August 22nd is over and no nuclear war yet? Dammit, Glen Beck! I’ve been so afraid, under my sheets for days and everything. People, the way to fight back is to not be afraid to the constant fear, and stand up as a proud individual, not a label (…you know, Republican, Democrat, right, left, up, down, etc)

I beleive people should fear not being able to create a life for themselfs more than terrorism or being killed by a terrist attack. For a person that is brought up in a lower class life style Terrorism is the evil that you encounter through out life. It doesn’t matter if you are good or bad because the this country is not of the people. This country is of the rich and very greedy. If lower class people rise to power(have lots of money) they will be look apon as terrorists because this sort of thing is not supposed to happen. It sounds crazy but you have to want to understand. Its the greedy people protecting there wealth and power over the the poor. Poor people will become brain washed and start wars againts there own people for a dirty penny. I can’t say this more simply than that 9/11 was an attack from US citizens themselves. They live here and worked for themselves and are unhappy because WHY? You could beleive everything the government says but if there are terrrists flying our plans then you should wonder alot about what the government is most focused on when they fly them into the trade towers. Have you ever felt treated unfairly in school or at work or just pushed to do somthing bad like fly an airplan into some super rich rich people building. Where people sit on there ass and just be rich and treat people like crap because they realy don’t have anything else to do work wise, just make themselves look better then you. Their in the buisness of keeping things in check so this country never is of the people. You have no rights and you are what they say you are. You are better off being bad then good, you’l probable live longer and be more happy.

The American people have become so naive about their life it borders on sophistry and stuporous. The American people have allowed a fascist regime take over the United States government just as the Italian and German people did back in the 1920′s,1930′s,1940′s. It is a shame that it has come to this, but I guess those who live by the sword dies by the sword. PITY

It amazes me when listening to news reporters critisise our government as it everything should be perfect. In Path to 911, ABC had to pat themselves on the back with telling us in the movie that they were able to find Usama Bin Laden before our government did. Why is it that after 5 years of Brian Ross investigating 911, he can’t seem to find Usama now?

The two rich whiners, right and left. The former underpays it’s slaves, while the latter overpays it’s slaves stirring the wrath of the former. The Reps. and Dems. have had 200 years to get it right. All they do is line thier pockets and point fingers. Both guilty. Leave the mid-east, problem over. Let the hipo-christians and mus-wrongs fight it out in the sahara for thier little slice of paradise. The regular people just want to live.

Currently, I’m awaiting citizenship. I came to America to try to survive. I would go to any country to survive. Diidn’t the first Americans do likewise. So why is everyone so hateful to us newcomers. If law is blind why are we so unwelcome. I do not commit any crimes. I only work. I brought a cowboy hat and tried listening to country music but it does no good. Nothing works. My neighbors call me a madman and children throw rocks at me when I pass by in my cowboy hat. It was never like this in Antigua
