U.S.: Plot Was Run from Pakistan

U.S. officials say the three men arrested in Pakistan Wednesday ran the alleged airplane bomb plot, wiring the money for plane tickets to co-conspirators in London. U.S. officials identified them as Rashid Rauf, Mohamed al-Ghandra and Ahmed al-Khan. The arrest of the three men by Pakistani officials on Wednesday set in the motion the arrests in London on Thursday. "They are considered the ringleaders," a law enforcement official told ABC News late Friday. Officials in Pakistan said they had direct ties to al Qaeda commanders in the country.

Brian Ross & Investigative Team: you guy have done one hell of a job during this alert. I’m in the UK on vacation (holiday, as it were) and I keep fairly abreast of the current situation whenever I can. When the story broke, we were glued to the television set. Then I began reading the online reports. At one point I had the Television set turned on and was searching “The Blotter” for information; you were at least five minutes ahead of the live UK news.
Also, I am glad you are using unbiased and analytical information such as that from Stratfor.com. MSM could learn something from Stratfor, and you are leading the way.
Keep up the good work!
