McCain: Kerry’s Comments Were ‘In Some Ways Insulting’
ABC News’ Erica Anderson Reports: While appearing on ABC News’ "Good Morning America" Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) once again demanded an apology from Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) for his highly-scrutinized comments about U.S. troops.
"They are not there because of academic deficiency," McCain said of U.S. troops serving in Iraq. "They are there because of love for our country."
ABC News’ Diane Sawyer asked McCain about Kerry saying during his Tuesday press conference in Seattle that the Arizona Senator ought to demand an apology from the Bush Administration for its conduct of the Iraq war. Sen. McCain responded by saying that he has been critical of some aspects of the war while adding, "I’m not sure how that relates to a statement he made."

What John McCain needs to do is answer the veterans on how he can ignore issues pertaining to veterans.
How a veteran can be assaulted by law enforcement officers in front of a VA hospital for a mere violation of the VA smoking policy and then write him about it and he ignores it. Why are our services being cut, for more bombs and bullets. So you can bring more brave soldiers home disabled. How many more soldiers become disabled for a war that is nothing more than De Ja Vue of Vietnam. Mr. MCCain, you gonna pay for the Wall with the names of the dead from the Iraqi War? After all it was you Republicans who “blew the smoke up the American peoples butts to buy into this BS”. Their blood is on your hands. As a Vietnam veteran, I support the soldiers but not the administration that is sacrificung their lives for their own personal agenda (the politicians).McCain, get a life, preferrably out of politics. You are not a friend of the “Veteran”.You have betrayed them in so many ways, you should be the one who should be ashamed, if you had a conscience.

What John McCain needs to do is answer the veterans of this nation on how he can ignore issues pertaining to veterans. How a veteran can be assaulted in fron of the VA hospital here in Denver by a VA Law Enforcement Officer and then have it covered up because of the embarrassment it would cause Georgie Bush if it got to the headlines. Attacking me from behind and injurying me in the process all for a mere violation of the VA’s smoking policy. McCain is not for the veteran but for his own A%@. Why are the services being cut at the VA hospitals. Too buy more bullets and bombs so you can bring the brave soldiers in Iraq home disabled and no services for their treatment. Sounds like a bit of De Ja Vue (Vietnam). Is Johnny and Georgie going to pay for the “wall” to put all the names of the American soldiers killed in the so called “War On Terrorism” in Iraq. After all it was the Republicans who blew this smoke up the American public’s butt about the WAR On Terrorism and about Saddam having WMD.As a Veitnam vet and a disabled one, both Bush and his “warmongering cronies should be charged with War Crimes Against Humanity and Murder for all the American lives lost in that war so far.I feel nothing but admiration for the soldiers who are serving over in Iraq, but I also remeber what it was like. I can be in support for the soldier, but have my distaste for the politicians who use young American soldiers for thier own political gains. McCain, get a life , preferrably out of politics before you wipe out a couple of generations of Americans for your “Up In Smoke BS”. You are not a friend of the veteran even if you are one yourself. Your agenda is different thans most veterans. Yours has nothing but “ME” written all over it. If I was you, I’d be feeling alot of shame for what you do. But then if you have no conscience, does it really matter, you think it’s all about you and the so-called American Patriot aka. ( Republican Party and its hypocrite leaders. This is one Vet who will do his damnst to see to it you are not our next President. You have betrayed the veteran, you are no better than the terrorist themselves. P.S. Thanks for nothing, from one Vietnam vet to another. Watch a Vietnam movie and see if you can recall what war was like, after all you and Bush are the ones bringing the dead soldiers home.

What was promised to John McCain behind closed doors during the torture/Geneva Conventions debate ?
He was for a time showing himself as a leader, an independent thinker –but he has in recent months become the lapdog, the ad hoc spokesman for the administration. ??
He is losing credibility daily.
Was he told that if he played ball the RNC would annoint him there candidate of choice in ’08 ??

Isn’t is ‘politics as usual’ when McCain has found an opening to rebuke a potential rival for the next Democratic presidential race? He is smart enough to know that Kerry’s remark was a joke on BUSH, NOT the troops, but he is just using the situation to his advantage. Shame on McCain.

Ahhhhh! Obama take note see what happens when you wait???
Six years ago I thought McCain “the Maverick” was the better man for the job than Bush and even two years ago I also thought he and Kerry would be a good team –and now McCain has sold his soul!
See what happens when you wait you morph into something unrecognizable.

John Mccain is becoming the low life politician endemic to the republican party. when he was attacked and his wife slandered what did he do? he said George, you shouldn’t say things like that. What he should have done is punch him in the mouth. He lost his integrity a long time ago and his candidacy will be ajoke.
