RNC Accepts Money From Army Porn Movie Distributor
Despite running an attack ad accusing a Democratic senatorial candidate of accepting money from "porn movie producers," the Republican National Committee itself has accepted several donations over the past few years from the president of a large pornographic movie distribution company. Marina Pacific Distributors calls itself "the leader in adult video distribution." Included in the movies for sale on their Web site are videos made by "Active Duty Productions." Active Duty, as their name suggests, has cast active duty soldiers in some of their films but not without serious consequences for the soldiers. Three Fort Bragg soldiers were found guilty and sentenced to prison in separate courts-martial earlier this year for appearing in pornographic videos made by Active Duty. The charges included sodomy and conduct detrimental to the Army. Four other soldiers accused of appearing in Active Duty videos were also punished outside of the military court system. THE BLOTTER RECOMMENDS Lobster With Kerry: $25,000. Golf With Chambliss: $15,000. Access to Congress: Priceless. Brian Ross Investigates Webcast Dining with Dems, Golfing with the GOP Click Here to Ask Brian Ross a Question Active Duty’s films, however, continue to be sold by large pornographic video distributors, including Marina Pacific. The president of Marina Pacific, Nicholas Boyias, has personally contributed to the Republican party several times over the last few years, six times to the Republican National Committee. The donations range from $200 to $500 and total around $2,000, according to a search of federal election records. The RNC would not comment on the donations from Boyias or from the porn industry in general. A Marina Pacific spokesman said Boyias is a moderate Republican who supports candidates and causes on both sides of the aisle, though no contributions to Democrats were found in a search of federal election records. The company continues to sell Active Duty’s films, which include "Fire in the Hole," "Platoon Party" and "Thrill Sergeant." Back at Fort Bragg, a spokesman for the 82nd Airborne said it’s distressing to know that Active Duty’s videos are still being sold. "It’s very frustrating for the leaders of the 82nd Airborne to know that people like this are out in the public who prey on our troops," said Major Thomas Earnhardt. When asked about the soldiers who were sent to prison for appearing in the films, a spokesman for Marina Pacific said, "They made a choice, and they were of legal age."

so much for family values. The repubs have sold their souls. Duke Cunningham and the boys took bribes during wartime which has to be treason. Soldiers go to jail for this and the repubs take money from it. Just another day in the GOP. Nixon would be so proud.

All of these problems would be solved if, as a nation, we just stopped the vendetta against Gay men and Lesbians, realized that every American is equal, stopped the foolishness of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and joined the civilized nations of the world in recognizing Gay relationships as worthy of dignity and respect.

Funny how all these “Republican scandals” are coming out right before the election. It seems the liberal media has been working toward this election for some time now. Notice how Democrat scandals just seem to get swept under the rug (e.g. Jefferson and his freezer full of cash)?
Of course, if Democrats had been accused of these same acts, it would be disregarded as being within the liberal mode of behavior, and therefore, no big deal.
Watching the left-wing media attack Republicans just gives us more incentive to vote Republican. Remember Michael Moore in 2004???

There has been much talk about the Republican “base” of Evangelical voters and Christian conservatives banding their flocks together to keep Republicans in power this election. However, many of them are starting to wake up to the fact that they are being used on a grand scale. And yet there are still those who are “asleep at the pew” and ready to vote Republican on baseless moral grounds. I have a question I would love to ask of all the religious wingnuts. If their mythology is true and Jesus decided to come back tomorrow, how do they think George W. Bush, his demonic administration, and Republican enablers in Congress would react? A) Would they allow a peace loving, liberal, hippie to make peace on Earth and all men and women to be equal? OR B)Go to war with God to maintain their power, control, and fortunes? They know the answer would be (B)! So my next question would be… Doesn’t that make him the Antichrist according to their mythology??? No wonder they call it a “flock!” It’s hard for a president to convince anyone he is pro-life when it comes to banning stem cell research while thousands are being sent to their deaths in Iraq. It is also ironic that the very party that puts forth a homophobic agenda turns out to be full of closeted homosexuals and pedophiles. It’s not what you say, it’s what you do. For real Christians and people of faith the mantra for the next election cycles should be, “It’s the hypocrisy stupid!” We have all heard the acronym, “WWJD – What would Jesus Do,” but a more suitable acronym in this age of hypocrisy would be, “WWTDTJ – What would They Do to Jesus!”

Had the RNC NOT run the bimbo ad in the Ford/Corker Race accusing Ford of accepting money from porn producers, then this story probably wouldn’t have even come up. The media loves hypocrisy and once someone makes a charge, the first thing they should do is look at their own party so it doesn’t come back in their face. The whole “blame the liberal media” idiocy is getting so old.

The shoe is on the other foot now. All the misdeeds the GOP was hiding are coming home to roost.
Is this behavior/hypocrisy typical of all Republicans? No. But Reps. often use one or two comments made by Democrats to accuse the entire party of wanting “therapy for terrorists” or “immoral” or whatnot — most of which is just spin by the GOP.
Republicans: Welcome to politics. In case you haven’t figured it out, stories like Evangelical Pastors buying meth and getting massages with “happy endings” tend to make good news before Electon Day.

The zealous right wingers out there implying, or outright stating, that these recent scandals involving the republican party are some kind of leftist media conspiracy to affect the upcoming elections aren’t fooling anyone but others such as yourselves, who will clearly never vote anything but republican, no matter what the republicans in office do. I notice you don’t question the validity of these reports. And what of the other republican scandals from well before the elections? You know like the ones involving Jack Abramoff, Tom Delay, Duke Cunningham, Bob Ney, etc., etc., etc. Not to mention an administration which continually lied to the nation and the whole world about aluminum tubes from Afica and WMD’s in Iraq to start an unjust war resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis and Americans; and a spineless congress that rubber stamps whatever the administration wants. And they want to condemn the entire Democratic Party for a verbal faux pas by John Kerry? Please. Be it months before the election, during the election or after the election the republicans in charge are scumbags who are only in it for themselves and just fill peoples’ heads with propaganda to try to convince them otherwise.

How many voters have tuned-out all these stories by now? How many REPUBLICAN voters? When those who decide to vote in this election walk into their voting booths, they’re going to vote THEIR incumbents back in. They just want everyone else’s INCUMBENTS to be voted o-u-t. The result? No change. Status quo confirmed. Those who see their Republican party as “their team” and the Republican candidates as “their guys/gals” are going to vote Republican….no matter what. The very thought that these “moral people” on the right would ever NOT vote Republican is “a Cheney” (a “no-brainer.”) Besides, DIEBOLD is going to make sure the votes are for the “right team” anyway…..again. Is that too cynical? Look where we ALL are after 6 years of these “compassionate Republicans,” then answer that question.

Yes… I love the outrage. Not at the behavior of the Repubs, but that it should be exposed! And before elections!!! But wait, wasn’t the whole report cited as a reaction to the original ad against Ford taking money from porn producers? Thus, it probably WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN reported here except for the Repubs opening up that line of inquiry! Get over it!

RE: Funny how all these “Republican scandals” are coming out right before the election. It seems the liberal media has been working toward this election for some time now. Notice how Democrat scandals just seem to get swept under the rug (e.g. Jefferson and his freezer full of cash)?
OK–Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Joe Scarborough, Monica Crowley, Wolf Blitzer, the entire FOX NEWS operation, innumerable local radio talk hosts. Yeah, it’s all a vast liberal conspiracy. And Bill Clinton’s sex life was just “swept under the rug.” Those YEARS of hearing, the hours of blather on cable about Monica’s dress, the whole impeachment–none of that happened.

Those of us on the “live and let live” side of life see GLT people as just a “bird of a different color”. Perhaps our right wing faith based gay bashing friends should remember “A bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush”. (Well…he was a cheerleader in Prep school) The Republican closet must be a double wide walk-in. If I was a Republican (I think…therefore I am not) I would insist on all party members and supporters to answer the following question: “Are you now, or have you ever been…?”

The big deal is, David, that the RNC was running ads against Harold Ford Jr. for this very same issue. It’s called hypocrisy. It’s like saying, “support our troops,” and then our family has to shop for body armor on the internet to ship to my little brother stationed in Iraq with the Marines. I could go on, but my point is – This is Personal! It’s Personal to all of us who care about this country. It’s damn Personal to every American this hypocritical Administration has directly impacted. I suppose you laughed and giggled as Limbaugh said they should lock up all the drug users and then said, “what’s the big deal? Rush just likes pills.” When the “liberal” media reported the fat muppet got caught with pounds of oxycontin. WE the PEOPLE would like our country back and REALITY back!

The GOP knows where they can find a blond female who is willing to strip and solicit before millions.
Remember when Nixon’s reelection committee CREP (aptly pronounced creep) planned to hire a passenger ship and fill it with prostitutes – to entice delegates to the Democratic party’s Presidential Convention in Florida – and take pictures of them??
That means the GOP knew a whole lot of female volunteers for night duty. As in hundreds. Many of the men who were involved with the GOP in the 60′s and 70′s, and who, presumably, knew a paid volunteer or two who would volunteer for double paid duty, are now leaders of that party.
By the way isn’t the soliciting for sex, in the GOP ad, illegal, and isn’t pimping to solicit sex also illegal? Has soliciting suddenly become a Family Value, not to mention, a self proclaimed, Born Again Christian’s, sideline job?
Quite a resume the Bushites are amassing for their next jobs. War-mongering, arms dealing, torturing, pimping.

The thing that I find most amazing is that the people who are defending the Republican’s actions completely miss the point. It’s not about what party you are affiliated with but the actions of those who have scutinized others for far less. “Judge not lest ye be judged.” “He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.” One can not simply set aside his beliefs when it’s convenient. You can not be a little Christian. Values and principles are not flexible concepts; you either have them or not.

Seriously, I for one am happy to welcome all disenchanted Republicans into our house. There will be no “I told you so” here. I hope you will work with us to get this country back on track, and support a minimum wage incrrease, universal healthcare, and a rollback on tax cuts for the rich. And of course, bring our kids home from Iraq ASAP.

Jerry, why don’t you (and the rest of your ilk) be honest with yourself? The sad fact is that you’re an apologist for the GOP. If George W. Bush got caught having sex with a Cub Scout in Macy’s window, you’d say that the kid was a terrorist and Bush was checking for concealed weapons.
Instead of being mad at the press for uncovering this hypocrisy, you SHOULD be mad at the Republicans for lying to you about their alleged morality. You should, but you’ll almost certainly keep making excuses for these lying freaks.

Since the 1960s, I have been a libertarian conservative. But I will never again vote for a Republican. The party is morally bankrupt, fiscally irresponsible, and dangerously reactionary. The American people and the Constitution itself are at risk as long as Republicans are in power. Their fixation on prying into the private lives of citizens, while exercising their own private picadilloes at will, demonstrates their unfitness for public office. It’s not that they are gay, not that they have human failings, not even that they are sleezy. It’s that they live the very lives they decry in others. The hypicrisy is astounding.

I was told by a friend who was in the army some 20 years ago that porn films run nearly none-stop in military base bars on TV screens for all to see, males and females, alike. I wasn’t too surprised by this, because prostitution traditionally follows armies and with army leadership understanding and sanction, after all military leadership must look after its fighters. This is not Man at his best, but it is man as he is. Since human sexuality is not an option–despite what our “just say no” brethren profess–could some military experts comment on the sanctioned use of pornography in U.S. Military?

How pathetically laughable these posts that say “Well! How come NOW you come up with all this dirt on Republicans?” Well, why NOT now? All the government has been doing until now, with the cooperation of the media is to delay any news that might influence voters against the Republicans until after elections. It’s high time the voters were given all the information the news media has BEFORE they make their voting decisions, not after.
But what’s really amusing is how desperately the Republicans are trying to change the subject. Sorry kids, the question isn’t “Why now?” the question is “Is this true?” And the answer is “Yes, it is true.”
Then, there’s the “Well, if the Democrats did this the media wouldn’t care…” Well, when the Democrats do anything, even misdeliver a snarky comment – the RNC aka The Office of the President – and the media is all over them, trying to pretend that someone, somewhere, is deeply offended! Har Har Har. But beyond that, the Democrats have never had the audacity to set themselves up as the Party of Sexual Virtue – nope, that’s you folks. And given the events of the past few months, now I understand why; You upright, God-fearing folks make us depraved Democrats look like total squares. We’re not nearly as much fun as you folks are! Hell, compared to us liberals, The Republicans look like a weekend house party at Caligula’s!
Makes me think about switching Parties but I think as an out, single, Gay man, I’d never be able to keep up with all the stuff you folks are into…
I’d suggest you all just try living your lives openly and honestly and without apology, but I can tell you, your sex lives wouldn’t be as exciting, because they wouldn’t feel that “dirty” anymore.

Have you been asleep for the past 5 years? The Republican scandals have been coming so thick and fast it’s almost impossible to keep up with them — not that the MSM has made much of an effort to do so.
If you want to blindly support the Republicans, you will have to accept the fact that others will assume that you approve of their behavior, and probably engage in the same type of behavior yourself. Frankly, when someone tells me he is a Republican now, I just assume he is a lying, cheating, greedy, murderous pedophile, and get as far away from him as fast as I can.

I tried to read all the messages but it was a bit hard, it seems like everything there is to say, has already been said.
Although, i think is wrong to send soldiers to prison for doing porn. Some one should do something about it.
As far as the whole porn donation thing goes, i dont see anything wrong with it. They are just an industry trying to look after their intersts in Washing like any other industry in the country. The only problem is that the fvcking puritants wannabe repeatedly advocate family values, abstentenence and they even tried to use a porn scandal against a candidate.
So yes, i agree, if this was a donation to the Democrats, it wouldn’t be a scandal, but with the Republicans it just shows their hipocracy.

In the ‘culture wars’ the Dems have to jerk open the hypocrisy closet of ‘gay’ homophobic RepubliCons because we already have openly G/L reps and we really aren’t worried about adult consensual romps. I look at actions and intentions. Gays are not demanding special treatment. They simply want to let be and be able to live amongst everyone else. On the other hand, Christians want to be able to fire gays from jobs, exclude them from participating in certain public duties, restrict them from military service. Go read the Code of Conduct at Brigham Young University where even advocating for gays is consider an expellable offense.
If Christians truly wanted to improve family life: They’d advocate for the real hardships out there that destroy families: untreated alcoholism, drug abuse by parents, deadbeat parents who dont pay child support, day care costs, declining job base for middle-class and working class parents. Of course, these problems are too big for them to tackle, so they focus all their energy on hating and blaming the gays. There are many things we can find fault with in other humans. Lets focus on fixing the truly detrimental problems out there and not on harmless and benign variations in the wide range of human behaviour.

I find it rather humorous that for so long the ‘gay’ card was used as a means to scare the public. In other words, if gay marriage is allowed, it would undermine the social security of this country.
And now, as a run-up to the election, I find it interesting that, yet again, the gay card has been played. With the marriage admendment passing in New Jersey (kudos, actually- regardless of political motivation), Foley and now Haggerd… I mean its great that these people now have their colors showing- but who has hidden it all this time? That’s the real stinger… all this time and money spent and the people propogating should be the biggest opponents…
You reap what you sow. I am a gay women and it floors me to no end that people buy into any of the arguments FOR or AGAINST anything… we are all just people… with varying ideas… if religion and sexual affiliation were taken out of this world as a means by which to measure, I’m sure we’d all get along quite nicely.
Remember folks, certain things have been created in this world (long before the Republican or Democratic party) to cause divide and maintain divide… Divide and conquer.
I say we beat them to the punch and succeed from the Union….
Power to the Peaceful.

When all you have is the lies of liars (congenital due to the fact that they know not themselves) to offer the American people you will destroy the nation for the simple satisfaction of attempting to destroy the lives of gay and lesbian people.

Lefties – Please be aware of your surroundings. Ever since 9/11, the Bush administration has had an active internet propaganda presence. 5 years ago, they would enter chat rooms and start talking about how Saddam supposedly orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. Nowadays they just post talking points and catch-phrases, like “liberal media,” and spread wild conspiracy theories wherever they can post freely.
Don’t bother arguing with these “people,” (assuming they aren’t just a computer program). All they are doing is cutting and pasting arguments from the RNC talking points. There is no original thought and no concept of reality at work there. When you argue with them, all you are doing is encouraging Chenney to keep funding the program.

The logical fallacy that this whole article and much of the discussion that follows is premised upon, that is, the et tu fallacy. Instead of pointing out the uselessness of this kind of thing, apparently first by the republicans, the left seems to justify and then use the same errant argument to prove….what? It means nothing, adds nothing to the discussions about political issues. It is just a simple ad hominem argument which fails to do more than show just how ignorant people can be when they give up on thinking. Why not a post on why this kind of argument is of no use to political debate?

No one party has a lock on morals. To imply this is ludicrous. But each party has bedded itself with some odd partners in order to garner a broad range of votes – needed to win any election. GOP just happens to be sleeping with the Christian coaltion – and this makes them more vulnerable to accusations of hypocricy and immorality. It is time for us to be able to have more than 2 viable party choices. Before republicans bedded themselves with the religious right, they had some things going for them. Today, I feel ashamed to have called myself a Republican. I will vote Dem, but only because there is no other good choice.

Unfirtunately for the Republicans, they have no one but themselves to blame for lack of coverage of the Jefferson affair. If they had not rushed to his aid to try and keep the FBI from searching his office, it would have been a much more useful story.
Sadly, their deperation to keep secrets showed only too plainly that they have too many skeletons in thier own closets.
And byt the way, I don’t care if you are a Democrat or a Republican. If you are an elected official, you work for the people, and your office space is just as subject to a legal search as is mine.

As a proud liberal who is a registered Republican, I must say that the GOP is in serious trouble. Right now they are the party of the old confederacy, pandering to bigotry, hatred, and stupidity, out of power and are in serious danger of becoming a permanent minority.
Advice to GOP politicians: Stay away from corruption, lead a sound moral lifestyle, promote civility and shared responsibility, and actually care about black voters.
Advice to all voters: Regardless of party affilitation, always vote your conscience and put the needs of the country ahead of desiring power via party vehicles. If your party’s candidate is a thug, crook, or pedophile, don’t blame others for exposing them, blame those individuals for deceiving you and letting the nation down.
This outlook is called being a mature adult who exercises the franchise of voting responsibly.

MegaSpoof is the only spoofer which allows you to share spoofs with others. You do not need to go look for spoofs, you will automatically profit of the spoofs other people find for you (or us). And should you find out a spoof or even more, then you can make yourself immortal by sharing it with others! Because of this system, you will never run out of fresh spoofs!
Because of many dedicated users that use MegaSpoof, we now have a true (still growing) community, which checks the spoofs and the quality of them to make sure they are still worth looking at by you. Spoofs that are good will be rewarded points, spoofs that do not work or are not worth looking at will be punished by the same rating system. This way anyone has the possibility to have his or her voice to be heard!
You can also report spoofs. Whenever you encounter a spoof that is offensive or otherwise unwanted you can now easily report it! You can report a spoof by right-clicking it and selecting “Report Spoof”. Next, enter a reason why you are reporting the spoof and click OK. We take all reports serious and all reports will be processed, but it might take a while. If you don’t receive a notification that does not mean your report isn’t dealt with. It is (unfortunately) impossible to reply to all reports with a personal message.

I don’t really care if the GOP or any other party takes money from porn companies; they’re legal businesses too what’s the big deal? I am disappointed in a company supported by gay people giving money to the GOP… I won’t be purchasing any Active Duty films again.
The thing that alarms me about this article is that the men in the films could be and WERE tried for sodomy and jailed!! No one has commented that that in itself is ridiculous and wrong, only that it’s wrong for the GOP to make money from it. Stop getting mixed up in the partisan politics and focus on the issues! In 2007 our troops can be jailed for being “sodomites;” the term itself is an archaic biblical term based in rigid Victorian values. Aren’t both sides using the poor soldiers by making this a political issue and not a human rights issue as it should be!?

Who cares? It isn’t the Republicans fault that the high and mighty crowd is gullible enough to think mainstream political parties aren’t corrupt.
