Pakistan Bracing for Suicide Attacks

Pakistan authorities say they have received intelligence indicating suicide bombers have entered the capital city of Islamabad, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry told the Blotter on ABCNews.com today. As a result, security is being increased, and checkpoints have been set up at all entry and exit points of the city. The intelligence came primarily from Pakistan’s security service, the ISI. Possible targets include government ministers. Special arrangements have also been made for the protection of foreign nationals, according to the Interior Ministry. While most suicide attacks in Pakistan take place in the tribal areas of the Northwest Frontier Province, the country’s cities have increasingly become targets. Earlier this year, there was a suicide attack at a five-star Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, which killed two people. Just a few weeks later, a suicide bomber attempted to blow himself up at the Islamabad International Airport. Near Peshawar in April, there was also a failed attack on the interior minister. The interior minister survived, but at least 28 others were killed. Do you have a tip for Brian Ross and the Investigative Team?

Yeah, that truce agreement with known psychopathic killers sure was a rock-solid agreement. Did they cross their hearts and hope to die when it was signed?
When will people learn … you can’t make deals with these nutjobs. What Musharraf should do is to allow us to go in and clean the mess up in the tribal areas with a few daisy cutters in strategic locations. Any areas that complain … get a daisy cutter as a reply. Job done… what’s next?

Why did we stop calling these people “homicide bombers” instead of suicide bombers. We need to go back to calling them what they are “KILLERS” “HOMICIDE BOMBERS”!!!!

Terror Alert Across the UK
The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats
in London and Glasgow and have raised their security level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.”
Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even
“A Bit Cross.” Londoners have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when
tea supplies all but ran out.
Terrorists have been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to a “Bloody Nuisance.”
The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was
during the great fire of London in 1666.
Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised it ‘s
terror alert level from “Run” to “Hide.” The only two higher levels in
France are “Surrender” and “Collaborate.” The rise was precipitated by a
recent fire that destroyed France’s white flag factory, effectively
paralyzing the country’s military capability.
It’s not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of
alert. Italy has increased the alert level from “Shout Loudly and Excitedly”
to “Elaborate Military Posturing.” Two more levels remain: “Ineffective
Combat Operations” and “Change Sides.”
The Germans also increased their alert state from “Disdainful Arrogance” to
“Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs.” They also have two higher
levels: “Invade a Neighbour” and “Lose.”
Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only
threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels .
The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy.
These beautifully designed subs come equipped with glass bottoms so the new
Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.
