Front yards too!! People dont transfer mineral rights anymore and here in Tx it can be very difficult to keep fossil fuel mongers out of one’s yard. I served honorably in the US Army and I recommend a hitch or two in any of the fine services. I am a not physically qualified and with the damn computer systems today it is difficult to lie to the armed services like in times of yore. Damn the bad luck. I would like to serve in EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal). Don’t be shy, if you want to try, give it a go. Some of the best jobs in the military are the most dangerous jobs. I highly recommend these professions. People, I know, have a great deal of respect for those that serve in the most dangerous jobs the country has to offer.
It is a great opportunity to take down Al Qaeda terrorists. Don’t let this wind bag [zwahiri] deter you. With your help, we can hang him and his buddy [Bin Laden] from a light post in Washington.

The funniest thing I saw this week was the Muslim who poured gasoline on the burning car in Glasgow – and accidentally lit himself on fire as he screamed “Allah, Allah, Allah”! It so aptly captures the state of Islamism… inept, sad, and backwards.
These folks really need to find girlfriends, before we turn everything they love into glass. If they manage to actually pull some of these stunts off (a-la 9-11) in the future, we will inevitably tire of them and remove the theological cysts in Iran and Saudi Arabia.

This may be using the media for their own purposes of trying to scare off more Americans who do not understand the seriousness of radical Islams who want all westeners to convert or be killed. Just think of all the things that are not in his list. Like in Africa,Somalia I believe where the extremists were chopping people’s heads off for watching soccer on television. It goes on and on this vicious practice of brutal sadistic human slavery. I wish that the people who don’t support the growth of freedom in Iraq and various other others with an ‘anti-freedom for others’ attitude would have to spend some time under one of their famous Saddam-like murderous heroes regime command. See if they would like Americans to come free them. They don’t stop to think about how others feel. How someone has to stand there and watch thier family member get stoned to death or raped and brutalized. Under another circumstance we could have been born under such a regime. Remember that we are lucky..if reincarnation is real we could come back into such a brutal place and get to learn the hard way. What is wrong with helping other people? Why can’t they have the same comforts and freedoms we have. Let our fine outstanding soldiers do what they’re trained to do and put and end to this conflict and let a democratic government (of sorts) with more basic human rights and freedoms. I say just kill every idiot that tries to interfere with the progress in Iraq. Face the fact that islamist extremists plan to convert or kill the world or we’re done.

If we do not learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. In WWII we took out Germany completely. Wipeing out Berlin with constant bombing. ALL were taken out. Civilians and military people were given warnings and we went in and wiped those who remained out. The same thing was done in Japan to close out the war. We need only to allow our military enough men and weapons to destroy Iraq. Not live among them not knowing who is our friend and who is our enemy only to get killed by someone we trusted. Military might is the only answer to those who want to kill us and die doing it. This would shorten the war and save American lives. Did we not use the Atomic bomb in Japan for this very reason? Has history proven that this was the right move to save American lives? You better believe it! Yes, unfortunately women and children also died. This is the horror of war but it is also what it takes to win. I say let our military use the weapons and know how to win this war and eventually save our young American boys by being decisive and strong. This is the message that even the enemy understands.

And sure you say they might travel to Finland and fly from Finland to the US or something, but just block all Iranian, Iraqi whatever citizens from entering the US or UK. If they fly to the US or UK fine, just send em back. Dont let them touch the soil. and sure this is harsh and very racist since not ALL Iranians etc are extremists, but this is the only way to be sure, and it’s not unreasonable – if they can’t join our country or enter it, we can’t join or enter theirs! Not like we’d want to. I think we need to be tougher on this situation coz you wont stop the suicide bombers otherwise.

Anyone with the slightest amount of tangible proof would know the truth.
When you are done confessing how afraid you are. Try to face your fears with calm, dignity and community. Or you can insult others while you make your way through life. Seems a little rightous and naive.

I have always had a huge bone to pick with our government’s lack of commitment to finish the job. Half of our politicians and citizens are anti-war; because of that, as usual military operations are run from their well upholstered seats in Washington and through the press polls, knowing nothing about what it takes on the ground. I am relieved to see so many post on a liberal news website of right minded people who have not been fooled by the “lose at all cost” liberals in the Democratic Party and their top supporters, the mainstream medial. If most people feel this way, how can the poles be right that less than a third of the population supports continuing the war in Iraq? I don’t believe it is accurate, I think the majority of people are tired of hearing about the war because it is always presented in a negative light. No stories of victorious battles, of ways life has improved for many Iraqis or the strategic advantage of having Iran hemmed in and certainly no count on “insurgents” (read terrorist) killed.

I’ve been to the Gulf twice. I predicted to friends and family that 9/11 would happen a good 10 years before it did. I knew the enemy would use despicable means and would stay at it for generations. I recently returned from Balad Air Base in Iraq. It looks like we are digging in to stay. And we should! I see no end to this “War On Terror”. But we need to keep fighting them and be more agressive. The only way we can lose is from the enemy within. Yes, left wing liberals, I’m speaking of you.

I find it interesting that when I watch the news (ABC, CNN, etc) all I hear about is how America is failing, America is losing, American’s are dying, American’s at home don’t support anything … but when there is actually a place where the people are able to speak for themselves (deployed troops included) they overwhelmingly say the opposite – and passionately so.
Just an observation.
Does anyone agree with me? If so, why is that?

Poor Chris, We for one were not at war with IRAQ. We engaged and removed a very cruel and insane despot from power. Easy work. We established elections,police, fire services, built thousands of schools .AS soon as the criminal gangs masquading as REligious leaders (for profit) stop trying to carve out their fiefdoms, we give the elected government the keys and leave. 1200 to 1 kill ratios pretty well state who’s “losing”. We are not “Occupiers” ask Germany,Japan, several other countries we ARE VERY GOOD AT OCCUPYING,if we “occupied” Iraq it would be very quiet in the area.
It seems that about one out of every four persons that were ever born on this planet has been killed in the name of one religion or the other. More G.I.s have been killed in accidents, and crimes in the U.S. than in IRAQ. Grow up Chris-election year media and video games are NOT Reality.
