Of the commenters here, I likely am one of the few who was in the middle of Gulf War I and who had to duck when the Scuds came cruising in. I had to deal with the daily personal security issues thereafter, since that is where I was employed (I’m American and not related to any ethnic group in the host countries).

If it was uploaded in a country / operation that doesn’t keep server logs or is not amenable to having them viewed you are limited in what you can learn other than country of origin and a few other relatively insignificant details, not to mention that once it is legitimately uploaded, say to Al Jazeera, YouTube, or some other site, if one then copies and posts it to another site as ‘news,’ then its provenance is obscured further.
Blaming 9-11 on Bush and Cheney, an administration that couldn’t bungled Katrina (and still is bungling it), is laughable.
