Justice Silent on KBR Rape, Sex Assault Cases
EmailThe Justice Department is declining to talk to concerned lawmakers about its handling of rape and sexual assault cases involving American women in Iraq, making several of them unhappy. Rep. Ted Poe of Texas, a Republican who counts one of the alleged victims as a constituent, has railed against the Justice Department and others for their lack of cooperation.

Being a Vet myself, it does not surprize me this woman was raped. This ugly, violent act occurs in War zones all to often. In this case I am also NOT suprized that the ‘Good Ol’ Boy mentality has protected what I understand to be a ‘Civilian-Security-Contractor’. Scatch my back I” protect Your back-side is wat’s going on and it is shameful. No woman should be raped and then tossed away like so much troubling rubbish.

This is a shamefull incident and should be dealt seriously, and see that no such incident repeat again. Women should be encouraged not discouraged to work, this shows even in a civilised world we are lacking in basic humanity.
