Halliburton Gang-Rape Victim To Testify on Hill Today
A Houston, Texas woman who says she was gang-raped by co-workers at a Halliburton/KBR camp in Baghdad will testify on Capitol Hill this afternoon before the House Committee on Education and Labor.
Jamie Leigh Jones plans to tell Congress members that she and other women are being forced to argue their cases of sexual harassment, assault and rape before secretive arbitration panels rather than in open court before a judge and jury.

Give us more news on this matter. That a private company has been able to use contract law to circumvent criminal law and even international law is simply disgusting. I don’t think I.G.Farben execs got away with that after WW-II!

What happened to President’s George W. Bush’s justification to attack Iraq in order to erradicate Muslim women from rape under Saddam Hussein’s regime? Interesting contradiction, that one of the corporations under Bush’s wing that has most benefitted from the Iraq War reproduces the same behavior that justifies the millions of dollars that they have generated from this war!!
