Sadr “Forbids Using Weapons”?

From the ABC News Baghdad bureau: "There are leaflets around Baghdad being distributed by Moqtada al Sadr that dramatically and officially limit his followers’ ability to wage violent resistance — and seems to transform the militia into a social organization. Here are the key phrases: ‘This army is cultural, religious, social and in charge of cultural and scientific jihad – to liberate minds and hearts and souls of the secular western tide. And which forbids using weapons, ever… so everyone knows what kind of organization this is. So we give you this flyer… To call for what’s right and forbid what’s wrong in an ethical way – through tongue and heart, only… To respect ethnicities and different ideas…’ Sadr’s cease fire is one of the single most important reasons that the violence has dropped here. But never before has Sadr taken the steps he seems to be taking right now."
