Nobody is trying to come up with anything about Palin. Jake is just stating a fact. She clearly was not joking as she and the McCain campaign have mentioned this more than once.
Don’t be mad at Jake for calling Sarah out on her lies. Keep ‘em coming Jake. We need to know the truth since she’s not talking.

My-maybe you need to think about the upkeep and fueling of that plane, she saved the government money, it should not have been bought in the first place and the upkeep alone would have cost the taxpayers, so even if it was sold for less, it was still a savings from excessive spending. Notice how “gramps” just stood there with that “smile” on his face and listened while Sarah was giving her speech in Michigan. She makes him look realllly old. Did you notice how Cindy got pushed out the picture. Wonder how long she is going to play second fiddle to Sarah. This is like a comedy show with sad part is that many people are falling for this show. Sarah is carrying the ticket. If she is so genuine, she needs to go on political talk shows.

I find it hilarious everyone used to knock on Obama for giving speeches, but now that you have a Republican that overshadows McCain speech giving ability, she’s the hero.

As I watched Obama and Biden today, they were both freestyling it with the public, no scripts or prewritten speeches.

Even if she did actually say it was “put” on eBay, the perception she successfully created is that she sold it on eBay as well. She failed to mention that she finally got rid of it at a loss.
I really do fear that the McCain campaign will keep her sheltered and unable to speak without being entirely scripted. This will just add to the view that she is unqualified.
That fact really bothers me. She could potentially become the president – I think we have every right to see her questioned by Gibson, Brokaw, etc. so that we can make an informed decision.
And she’s having to be schooled in foreign policy by Lieberman? This is not something you learn in a couple of months. I hope they can drill enough into her before she debates Biden, although he’s going to be in a precarious position. Go after her as he should and he’ll probably be accused of sexism.

The McCain campaign is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people by accusing the media of being unfair to Palin. We deserve and demand to know everything there is to know about Sarah Palin. The media is doing it’s job informing the American people about our potential next VP. How about: her belief in creationism (remember, there are potentially two supreme court justices as stake), her belief that banning books from public libraries is a good idea, her focus on “abstinance only” sex education which has been widely discredited in the medical and educational communities, her ignorance of, or purposeful dismissal of the scientific background of global warming, her belief that the war we started in Iraq is a mission from God, her outward focus on choosing to have Trig while trying to deny all other women any choice in their own reproductive decisions . . if you look at all beyond the hype about what color lpistick she wears you’ll see that there are PLENTY of issues to drive the anti-palin sentiment.
