Obama Re Last Night
For all the post-Palin, post-Giuliani, talk on the blogs and the radio and the cables and wherever else, here’s Barack Obama himself on what he thought of the attacks leveled against him last night: "I’ve been called worse things on the basketball court."

Please folks remember that not all Republicans are hateful. Sorry for the awful display all week.

Brilliant!!!

Obama has demonstrated he has a level headed temprament, even when things the dirt has hit the fan.
McCain has demonstrated he is a gambler and a hot-head, willing to change every position he ever took that offended his party.

No Drama Obama – he’s my guy!!
He won’t allow himself to get sucked into the silliness of Palin’s demeaning and insulting remarks. And there’s nothing more infuriating than a cool response to hot-headed attacks, a great personality characteristic for a president to have in this day and age.

He will make a great President unless America gets fooled again.

Way to rise above it, Obama. Keep on the high road.

Of course Obama attacks everyday. But he can look all holier than thou when he knows the MEDIA and his TEAM are doing all the dirty work for him.
We all see through that charade.

The Palin smears have been traced back to websites started by Obama.
Obama – you don’t fool anyone with your pious act.

That is what make me respect this guy…Obama acts more decent and matured..than the thugs in the other party!!

Obama could dunk on McCain and Palin both on the court and politically.

All of a sudden Palin is an expert on the national political scene even though she has been governor of the least populated state in the country for less than two years.
Obama has real class. This woman is another “help the wealthy”, keep the war going (the war that the middle class pays for in money and manpower), hate filled goodie goodie.
I considered voting for McCane but thanks to Palin I have made my decision for sure now. Go Obama!

Obama is way ahead of McCain/Palin.Brilliant people discuss ideas and issues, dull folks discuss people.Go on Obama with your ideas and do not let disgruntled individuals derail your vision. God bless you and America. OBAMA/BIDEN 08/12

Palin Mania, Sounds like sour grapes to me. As I recall, isn’t that what Dubya and his hacks did in 2000 and 2004? What goes around comes around!

Maybe the ticket should have been Obama/Palin?
Lets face it the older experienced good old boys in Washington aren’t doing so hot now are they?
I’m ready for someone to shake Washington like an Earthquake.

Reminiscent of Jackson: keep your nose clean while the machine does the work.
Face it, Obama means more of the same status quo- he simply found a better way to do it.
Vote third party if you actually want a change.

I did think obama was going to pock a republican woman as well. But if he chose Palin on his ticket the repubs would have said , she is an uinfit mother, no experiance, no morals, prego teen who engages in pre marital sex..
As for this response awesome!

Even if you don’t like Obama you have to admit at least the guy is talking about the issues. You may not agree with him but the Republicans haven’t yet mention how they are going to get us out of the mess they made of the last 8 years. Palin attack was disgraceful and shameful. If you can’t admit to that, well, I feel sorry for you. NO CLASS!

Obama is SO cool – he is SO good at dismissing the garbage republican party without ever stooping to their level.
Posted by: clifton | September 4, 2008, 4:29 pm 4:29 pm
As an Obama supporter I’m a little biased. But you got to understand that speech was to rally the base. So thats what is up with the attack. However I don’t think it was a good move. If John Mclame wants to sway my vote that is not the way to do it. I agree with G rocks right. If they want me to Change my vote they better get with explaining what Change they want to bring. Other than that I just see 4 more years Of cheeny in a dress and Bush only 30 years older at this point.

I was really surprised by how nasty and nonsubstantive she was. What a reckless choice for |McCain.

Thanks Clifton. I will not sit here insulting any republicans. Everyone has the right to their opinions. But there is this little thing called common sense. Something that Palin and Mccain both lack. I want to hear about the issues that we all as Americans face each day. The truth is, majority of Americans are not rich, are not even middle class anymore, thanks to Bush/Cheney, we do not own big oil wells, we are not CEO of the Big Corporations, therefore we all need to pull together to get this nation back to being great again. We need the middle class to survive. So let’s use some common sense- Mccain/Palin is not for change. It’s 4 more years of a sinking ship. You cannot grow if you do not change. I rather take the risk with Obama/Biden at least it’s something different. But they can’t do it alone, we all need to do for our country too. We can start by using a little thing called common sense!
Wordz: It seems to me that any full grown, mature adult would have a desire to be responsible, to help where he can in a world that needs so very much, that threatens us so very much.

I was so hopeful this would be a different campaign without all the negative personal attacks. I was so hopeful each party would take the “high road” and speak to the issues. I was so hopeful the era of sarcastic taunts and misinformation was over. That hope died this week at the RNC. As an independent voter, I will now support Obama. He is a refreshing alternative to ” bad old-time politics

This is what the conventions are for, it amazes me that you all get riled up. Conventions are to rally the party not talk about all the issues confronting them. Both parties to date have given little on the issues but that will come in the next few weeks. Obama if one looks realisticly has no business putting the U.S. at risk in such a critical time in History. This is not a time to put a man with no record in charge of the free-world. This is a race between McCain and Obama, not Palin
